LOL awesome thread.
The best part is all the people calling Ryla a "jerk" then being complete "jerks" in the way the post!
I love double standards!
Frankly if some moron didn't turn off his mic and was playing a loop of ANY music non stop over the mic I would probably be mad as well. I don't want to hear some scrub who keeps dying saying "ehh heh sorry" in the stuffy nose sounding voice either.
And as someone just posted - it's easy to mute, wouldn't that be more reasonable? No how about the idiots with always on mics turn them OFF! That's a lot easier, isn't it? I HATE always on mics.
(Playing Devils Advocate to keep fun reading alive!)
0/10, will not feed two trolls at one time
Troll and Devils Advocate and not the same thing, sorry. Devils Advocate is defending something bad. Troll is trying to get an emotional response.
See:
a devil's advocate[/i] is someone who, given a certain argument, takes a position he or she does not necessarily agree with, for the sake of debate. In taking this position, the individual taking on the devil's advocate role seeks to engage others in an argumentative discussion process.
a troll[/b] (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3] The noun troll[/i] may refer to the provocative message itself

So, that's the definition of Devil's Advocate. Thanks! I didn't even know, man.
