If you had the Typhoon before its first nerf, you know how awesome it was to absolutely shred bosses with.

Even at X with full equipment it isn't the same anymore. I still use it on my TSol and Geth Trooper and it's good, but not amazing. I'd love to see that damage multiplier buff so it can be like it was. It's heavy, it has a ramp up, it's kind of inaccurate, and the Harrier and PPR are both better, so why not just increase its damage so it can be the boss-killer weapon it was?

It scales up very well on weapons platforms compared to other good guns (or even bad ones)

i.e. Harrier > Typhoon

but TSo Typhoon > TSo Harrier

Am I right in thinking, that the is only UR weapon that has ever been nerfed in a meaningful way is the Typhoon?

I wouldn't call the harrier's weight increase a nerf, and the paladin's clip size reduction was compensated by by buffing its damage and reducing its weight...

Here's the URs that were buffed:
-CSMG (damage)
-Paladin (damage and weight)
-Talon (weight)
-Saber (damage)
-PPR (damage)
-Black widow (damage)
-Javelin (damage)
-Indra (damage)
-Wraith (damage)
-Scorpion ???

The typhoon is the only UR that was nerfed.... a primary example of bioware nerfing something based on 1 class making it too poweful.

Typhoon is good, its worthy of UR, but it doesn't perform that much better than the harrier does for how much it weighs, particularly considering the ramp up mechanic.

It sure feels good and fun on Destroyer !

PPR maybe a better damage dealer and more stable... but seriously being able to keep shooting without worrying about cool down makes huge difference in play.

I like it on the human soldier utilizing soft cover (hard cover to get more accuracy and things aren't particularly targeting me).

I tolerated the Typhoon before the first nerf to it, but now... meh. If I wanted to just stand there and pew-pew things I would play another game, or just use the Harrier and get it done quicker.

It's pretty decent, but certainly not overpowered. A small buff isn't going to hurt it.

Easy, strategic value of assets are too great to fall into enemy hands i.e. Scorched earth policy - better off destroyed than enemy getting their hands on it.

ONLY use it with stability mod and mag size upgrade. With AP rounds.
It's my most used AR. I hate the harriar and the idea of hugging ammo boxes, especially I mostly run platinum.

classes that it's great on are destroyer, turian ghost. Good accuracy and damage from these 2 classes. Not turian soldier he lacks both the damage output and stun immunity to use it effectively.

I use my most used AR in only 2 classes. Harriar only on demolishers, saber sometimes if I feel like sniping with the TI.

the Tsoldier is a wrecking ball with the typhoon. He has that amazing 37.5(or something)% damage passive. proxy mine debuff + marksman melts bosses. conc shot followed up by a burst will kill most mooks

I remember I own all the thing using typhoon 1 before the nerf , now I have typhoon X its just good in a few occasion, y bioware buff saber not typhoon ? Now its harder to camp using typhoon anyway, wont hurt the gaming.

It's my fav AR for platinum, kicks like a mule with a Turian Soldier, Turian Sentinel or Destroyer.as a matter of fact it's perfect against cerberus or collectors and IMO is a much better choice than a Harrier ( the best AR by far, but the ammo limits acan be a problem on platinum )

The real problem with this gun is that due to the weight it works only with those classes, but trust me on this, it's a beast
