 Just noticed a strange phenomenon. Wanted to try a Favored Soul for the first time, and every time I skip intro to the game the chest with the starting equipment is empty. I have only noticed this with Favoured Souls. I tried several deities to no avail. Anybody have any idea?

That's because they forgot to update the script that populates the chest to include the Favoured Soul class.

I seem to recall other classes missing as well. Swashbuckler perhaps? I ended up writing a new script from scratch for one of my modules (Shaar Moan), and remember having to add a few extra classes.

I am patched to 1.23. Is there any way to fix this.

A fix for this was also included in the OC Makeover SoZ Edition. If you have SoZ and are just starting the OC then installing the Makeover gives some benefits.

I just started a new OC  (Jan 2015) and had this problem with my Swashy, and Googling lead me here.
