The only tutorial I see in the OP is a Youtube tutorial for modding Dead Space 3.

Its very confusing, I know, but you need to focus on the last part, watch the video completely, what you have to do is find the ME3 exe through texmod, click packaging tab, add a package, find the mod's .tpf file, load it and run the game through texmod, I know its not a very detailed explanation but I'm quite busy right now so I cant type more than this at the moment.

For those who are interested, I managed to get the Phantom Armor (helmet removed) working in game with this code SovereignSRV posted in the general forum:

(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMM_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL"),GameEffects=("SFXGameContentDLC_EXP_Pack003.SFXGameEffect_UniqueArmor_Phantom_Weapons"),Id=27,Type=CustomizableType_Torso)

*Just follow the instructions from the OP and it should work out!*

 Hello, I'd like to make a reqest. Could you possibly make a female version of the male armour seen in this picture? I'd like to replace the mecenary armour that the woman has with this. The hope is that I would be able to use it for femshep, to replace Ashely's armour and to give to the two guards outside the war room.

Follow the instructions in this post: http://social.biowar...index/9735492/1

The instructions begin here: "2. NOW THE TEXTURES IN HR:" so just search for that line with your browser's search function (without the quotes) and after doing what he tells you to do, you should be good to go.

Is it possible for FemShep to have the Slayer texture. o__O

They're two seperate maps. If I placed the Slayer texture over the shadow then you would get a very bizarre mesh to the armor.

I just find it ironic how the guy gets to wear a skirt but the girl does not. 

Also the Shadow's arms are a bit too thin for my liking.

Just the nature of the way they built their game. I'd love to be able to have the mass effect games be as modable as say Skyrim. Would allow for people to really go make whatever they wanted.

Femsheps could wear that leather jacket instead of a cocktail dress...An armor set looks great but you hate that *one* piece etc.

But at least the textures can be changed. So that's something.

I'm looking for a little help. I am trying to give Shepard the ability to wear the clone armor (Cat6 Hvy) but I can't figure out the string for the coalesced file.
I know the name of the mesh (the file name) and what package it is in, but everything I try to load it, doesn't work. Any help or a push in the right direction and I would appreciate it.

Also, I believe there is another way to have full armor suits minus the helmet. With this way though, you could not wear any helmet, but you could mix and match full suits with different helmets.

All full suits are listed in the coalesced file under biogame.sfxgame.sfxplayercustomization.fullbodyapprearances
each one has a unique ID. Well if you look under the fullbodyhelmetappearances the lines list the helmets and the IDs match the armor under fullbodyappearance. If you want to remove the helmet from the suit, just remove the corresponding helmet under fullbodyhelmetappearances.

For example I removed the vanilla N7 open face helmet from the defender armor and instead used the Deathmask by adding the string for the deathmask and giving it the same ID as the defender armor.

Got a question. For the spectre variation (or any reskin of it really) of the defender armor, is it necessary to have the gamestop bonus? Tecnically the model is in the game, James and MP basic soldiers use it, so i was wondering, since its wasnt possible for me to get it, and i kinda like that armor :)

If you have gibbed save editor I believe you can unlock it from there.

Yeah i got it, though i never used it lol. Downloaded it this week, along with coalesced editor since it was in the recomended tools in the modding thread, because some of the textures for the armors dont make much sence for me, at lest, so i would like to get around to change them for something more fitting soooo...could you tell me where exactly is it your can unlock it? :lol: also...another question (lol sound like conrad) for the no helmet version, you edit the full armor set to make the helmet invisible or you are supposed to create another one, pointing the model and textures in the coelesced editor?

Edit: Ok so went checking and found the Defender in Saveedit, ty for the info :)

I then suggested that there was a male version available of the body, just replace HMF on HMM.

I can not check, so I started to pass the trilogy again.

So I have a question.

In your tutorial in order to use the reskin we have to run the game through textmod. Do we have to do that everytime or after can we just use the usual log in?

Yes you have to run texmod everytime in order for the textures to show up.
