Easy one - everything.
But if your question is really about what would make me like this game it's about three things.
1) A gripping and believable story
2) Believable characters playing to my emotions.
3) Combat that doesn't look as if my character just escaped from the zoo or the loony bin and strategic elements that go beyond hack and slash.

Interesting locations
Pretty good written dialouge and scenes.

And that's why I reserve my judgement till I have enough data on the finished product. No need for tissues. If it turns out to be some hack and slash COD I simply won't buy. I buy games that keep me enchanted for days, preferably months on end. If it isn't something like that, and fewer and fewer games are these days, I can live without the experience.

I don't see how a the MP can effect or indicate in any way on the storytelling in the SP. I do believe however that it ill have a major adevrse effect on the combat in the game.
Yeah, combat is of course a major issue. But it can have other adverse effects too. By eating away on development time, by railroading it into the single player experience like they did with ME3 and lastly by eating away ressources that were better used for other things on the disk.

But it doesn't matter, because MP is not going to drain resources from the Single Player campaign.

Still talking about stuff you haven't the slightest clue of? If you knew anything about game production, you'd know that it will. And I'm not only talking manpower.Plaintiff wrote...

How about my sanity? Which is why I'm not going to spend any of my time railing against it, since it's going to happen whether I'd make it my first choice or not.
