I doubt I'll ever get this banner. It'll be awhile before I get those Alien waves completed ones done because I play basic humans/ Earth characters a lot.

Just can not see the point of going solo in a co-op game...it contradicts the very meaning of co-op.

After reading that, i am GLAD that i do not have lone wolf and that i am not interested in it, which is the only thing i have to do for the final banner.

I Imagine to gather a list of people that might possibly be good enough to join the ranks of his main group.

Completing challenges has NOTHING to do with being good enough.

Several times i met those BOTB banner guys, that just go down like a bag of bricks on wave 2 Gold vs Reapers.

Especially those lone wolfers, 98% of them i meet run krogan soldier or asari adept witha  freaking sniper rifle, they alwas end up at the bottom of the score board.

I am constantly 1st or 2nd by a few points on gold vs reapers.

I consider myself an above average player, my friends say that i am modest.

I do not like to snipe, i do not like to use a harrier, nor use the ghost, Geth, pirranah, typhoon etc......I get my hands dirty, work hard and get rewarded, heck is use the M-8 on gold with no amps and take out brutes, ravengers and banshees.

When i an with "bad players", such as yesterday, 3 gold matches vs reapers. I was always the last guy standing for 3-4 waves, even during objectives.

Trust me, with 1100+ hours, banners do not mean squat on how good or bad a player is. Heck one of my friends is N7 180 with the tech banner only, he is happy with what he has and he rocks in game.

Again, banners do not indicate you'r skill at all.

Happily, got my BoB banner last night with the completion of Map Mastery, through a combination of some awesome (and not so awesome) gold PUGs, and a few dedicated friends going out of their way to put their challenges on hold to assist me with mine.

I merely see the BOTB Banner as a proof of dedication.

By now it's fairly common knowledge that people not always come up with their best kits, their best ping into a well coordinated squad setup on their favorite map in PUGs. So everyone has good and bad games, the BOTB Banner doesn't mean those guys come in fail-proof.

From my point of view, after spending so much time with kits I don't like on maps I can't stand in difficulties that cause physical pain I feel that someone who hasn't been through all this mustn't judge the guys wearing the Banner for their Skill but alone their dedication, which in all honesty even players (who don't own the BOTB Banner)  who come up with a better score did not achieve and most likely never will.

Isn't it funny how talking a BOTB owner down seems so much less like flame bait then a BOTB owner bragging about his achievement?
