Well the point of the group was to get the best players from the community that wanted to join.

You don't get in for top score, you get in for being a reliable teammate in platinum.

joining games in progress and climbing up the board is pretty satisfying, not gonna lie.

I often find myself at least second or first, depending on how late I joined and the skill of the other players.

All together maybe 3-4 messages though. I fairly often send out gg message for teammate I really liked.

 I prob woudn't do so well honestly, I only specilize in singular enemy format if I did plat I have to really really amp myself with my best stuff, and I'm rusty as heck (Challenge point system makes me use some oddity stuff that eats up my normal game time) but at leastmy white bars below are filling up and I unlocked a few nifty banners I guess...

One guy messaged me after a game telling me that I was the best player he'd ever played with. That was pretty cool. Other then that, moments that stick in my mind are standard clutches, or having some moment where you manage to revive a teammate from almost certain death, or save them from getting killed by a Banshee or something at the last second.

Playing a game a few months back with friends where I was just completely "in the zone" destroying everything that moved with my badass, Claymore-toting Female Human Soldier and just never seeming going down. During wave 4 or 5 one of my friend's say "Damn, Donny! Where'd you get all those points?" I look at the score to see I'm already at about 98,000 and the next highest score is only in the low 20,000s. By game's end I had my highest 4-man team score of about 187,000 with the next closest person only at about 50k.

It was my "alright, just one more..." for the night. I truly shouldn't have. I was blink-and-five-seconds-go-by tired. A Platinum game on Glacier. We were kinda spread out to finish the objective faster. It was wave 10. Two of my friends were sync killed as another finished out the 3rd device. While I was getting the 4th, he was shanked too.

It wasn't actually that cool. I had 3 missiles left, and by that point, most of the wave had gotten pretty close to me. 1 finished off most of what was left. I took cover briefly, blinked, and there was an Atlas and a Bomber approaching. Since I was just too damned tired, I fired off a missile instead of even killing them. Full extraction about 2 minutes later.

I've had plenty of Big Damned Heroes (looks as though we arrived in the nick of time) moments, though. Especially love when I charge something about to stomp a downed player. That feels way cooler than clutching the very end of a Platinum game by burning a few missiles.

Well, there was 5 minutes left for the weekend challenge, I hadn't played in weeks (aside from a single match for the last weekend challenge, my readiness rating is sitting at 50% lolol) so I hopped in and solo'd a gold while rusty as all hell and still got my comm pack.

Not half bad if I do say so myself.

Sounds like when I was with a couple of friends doing U/U/G and got Geth/Condor. All I could see were rockets, GPS shots, Geth Prime cannon shots and the Combat Drone. I was using the Valkyrie melee build and let's just say that I did far better than expected though I had a bit of help with a teammate calling out where they were.

HeroicMass had a similar issue on Collectors/White/Gold for 9 waves (never heard of anyone aside from him having the enemies become visible 10 waves into the game) and played pretty well too though I was guiding him a bit. Doesn't make it any easier to hit enemies when you can't actually see them.

Those PUGgers sucked by the way, soon as they went down on wave 11 every single one of them quit, they didn't even try to medi-gel. so it was just me and Xerorei don't play dat.

Speak for yourself, OP! I play games just to goof around and have fun, so my humility isn't false. I see acts of worth relegated to the real world rather than videogames. Bragging and completely blowing what you've done out of proportion like a good klingon warrior can be fun, but it's just not my thing.
