mmmm nooo.
Viconia is so cute because she's a women. Remove that and we will have Bishop.
Bishop was fantastic! Vile, mean, cruel and selfish. And he stuck with it all the way through! His betrayal was amazing, and when my female character met him again in MotB, it was a moment of sheer evil delight when it was clear that he'd gotten his just deserves.

Just deserts* my female character actually did the complete opposite. She totally fell for him (even though she wound up killing him; she had betrayal issues) and then when she learned that he'd been completely consumed by the Wall she absorbed Akachi and took vengeance upon the gods themselves. Poetically continuing the "love before EVERYTHING else" cycle the Founder started.
And man I just take every opportunity I can to trot out that story don't I? XD
Man I miss NWN2.

That endgame speech that includes, ".. for every West Harbor which gives rise to someone like you... someone great... there's a hundred of me that end up going down the other path..."
Seriously, one of my favorite game moments.

Really, if it's done right, a dark LI can be affectionate towards the protagonist without it damaging their "darkness".
And the PC doesn't even have to be "dark" from the start. I think a great idea would be an evil LI trying to seduce a good/light PC and tempt them to the dark side.
This sounds interesting. Consider me a supporter....

Javik is what I would consider an evil character. He is ruthless, unforgiving, and has no qualms about sacrificing anyone or anything to accomplish his goals. He will stop at nothing to win. He only cares about accomplishing his goal, and views those around him as assets to be used rather than thinking, feeling people. His backstory explains why he is this way, but that doesn't change the fact he'd step over the smoking husk of the Normandy without even blinking.
The only reason he isn't a villain is because his goal happens to coincide with Shepard's.
There's actually a difference between evil and ruthless, despite the fact that most evil characters happen to be so.

Bishop on the other hand pretty much Chaotic Evil as he is. Even if he was fighting with me against KOS.

I like this! We very nearly have the same brain.
Although my tiefling did not kill Bishop. And she poetically tried the whole "I WILL TEAR DOWN THIS WALL FOR MY LOVE", though to little success. Gann was all disappointed she had no interest in him.
Bishop's romance is, in my opinion, the best video game romance I've played. I get a little disappointed when some people talk about how sad they were that he betrayed them and why couldn't they just ride off in the sunset forever. That was, like, the whole point of his character and that romance. And it was great.
But I digress. I'd be down for an "evil" love interest, though Morrigan is probably the closest we'll get.

Your definition of Love Interest confounds and confuses me.Bishop from NWN2 was really evil and pretty hot as well! But the bugger wasn't LI I had to drool all over my monitor.
Bishop flirts, he makes his interest known, he admits a greater vulnerability if you pursue romantic content with him - and yes, there *is* romantic content to pursue - just because you don't get his rocks off doesn't mean he isn't a Love Interest or a romance option. His romantic conclusion is simply different from what most people would expect.
Were Obsidian intending for him to have deeper content? Yes, they were intending for all the companions to have deeper content, but just because he has less content than originally planned does not make his obvious romance path null and void.
He's a Love Interest - His romance simply doesn't present or conclude in the way you would desire.
