My original 2 favourites were the Salarian Infiltrator with mantis. Yes, both of them were the SI, I liked him so much. Or her, I really can't tell the gender ("they used to eat flies").

I also liked the asari vanguard disciple/predator combo.

Current favourites:
Slayer with a light (heavy) pistol.
I always smile when I get to play the batarian soldier. The ugly SOB is a beast with any shotgun. Except the scimitar or katana which should simply be deleted.

During demo: Asari Adept

Pre-DLC: Turian and Krogan Sentinels, Quarian Infiltrator

Mid-DLCs: Krogan Vanguard and Asari Justicar

Now: I usually have a difficult time choosing what to play, but favorites are probably Shadow, Fury, and any Krogan.

EDIT: also, all-time favorite weapon for almost any kit: Talon.  When in doubt about what weapon to use on a kit you aren't familiar with, Talon almost always works.
