Dropped into a Collectors Gold game on Ghost with an FQE once shortly after Retaliation was released. It was wave one, and all three of the others were already bleeding out. I thought, "F*** it, I already used equipment; I'll just clutch this **** for a few waves to at least earn back my expenses."

Long story short, I failed. I was covered in bees before I could even see what was happening, and got killed the first time about the time I made it up the ramp and out of the LZ. 1 gel used. Got up, ran to my left into that room, and started turning to hit the Captain and Trooper that had downed me coming out of the LZ... only to get blasted in the back by a pair in the room that I hadn't seen yet. 2 gels used. Got up, and immediately got staggered by the slashy-slash Trooper melee. 1 Ops Pack used. Took off to the back room overlooking the courtyard (opposite of the LZ), and got bee-hugged again on the way. I hit the corner and turned back just as both pairs (that had dropped me the first and second times) advanced out of the room between me and the LZ. As I dropped the first one, I got shot in the back again by another Trooper I hadn't seen. I stayed down. Some giggled, and I immediately exited to the multiplayer menu.

My first thought was "holy ****, that was embarrassing." My second was "**** that guy with the mic." He laughed at me failing when the THREE of them were already down upon my arrival, and he didn't bother to say a word about the enemies behind me when he obviously could have.

I played a silver duo with a friend of mine (who, let's face it, is light years ahead of me in skill and technique!). I went with Geth Engineer, one of my favourites, and who I can *sometimes* rock with. But not this time. Nooo. On Rio. Vs Cerberus. I used all 6 of my gels. AND managed to give my friend a gold revives medal. I *literally* died at least 4 times every single wave. I just could not get it together, and it was pretty humiliating. I was so terrible that by the end of wave 3 I had moved way beyond rage into numb shock. Worst. Game. Ever.

Using a missile and a medigel on the last enemy of a Platinum match -Marauder with one bar of health- while the rest of the team was still standing.

Or dying horribly on Hazard Ghost as a Valk because the rain wasn't showing and I didn't get the blood effect when my shields went down

Just some hours ago. Trying to unload 5 grenades in the face of an almost dead banshee with my Destroyer, when everyone else was down (so they were watching me...).
Those grenades can stagger (...and kill) a banshee so she doesn't grab you, right? Well, pressed the key but got sync killed anyway. I felt horribly. Shame on me...

So I learnt that synk-kills have the priority over player's powers.

Playing with my friend on Dagger/Cerberus/Gold as Volus Engineer, he was a Batrian Sentinel. With my Shield Boost, he practically stood there absorbing damage like Majin Buu or something while both our teamates died up in the central building.

End of the wave, we get an Atlas down to one bar of armor, and he decides a Falcon Punch to the robo-quad is in order. Atlas disagrees, and snaps his spine. I want to say it was a learning experience, but he tried it three more times that day out of anger.

Shouldn't it be "Greatest" enshrinkage moment? Anyways, mine is probably after I carried a wave versus Gold Reapers. It was down to the last enemy, the target box appeared on it, I turned the corner and was promptly elbowed in the face and gunned down by marauder shields. Luckily, I did have medigel, but it was still embarassing.

Turian Soldier on Ghost...picked up pizza delivery object. Just assumed drop off spot was the normal location not the one on the upper deck. And didn't bother to look at the big arrow right on my screen. Went long way around and walked right into two phantoms and two turrets. Died..medigel...insta-die...med-gel...insta-die...medigel...rage missle one phantom...die...wonder where the #$%^ my teammates are...they are all dead but one...last medigel...insta-die again because now every Cerberus unit within 50 km is hovering over me. Last teammate manages to pick up pizza and runs out of time trying to deliver.

I was playing as a Destroyer with a Typhoon on a Hazard Giant Gold Reapers game during the weekend op and got carried pretty hard by a BSNer. Usually I introduce myself if I recognise an Origin ID, but not a chance in that game.

While playing my Reegar Havoc I got matched with a lobby that had a PPR Ghost against Cerberus. He was playing pretty well, so I decided I'd play aggressively and try to outscore him. Ended up getting sync killed early on in a couple of waves by Phantoms because dumb. It was especially shameful on extraction wave since I missed out on my bonus creds My red name on the end screen made me feel bad. I did do reasonably well in the end, but still got outscored by 30k points.

Still a pretty fun match though.

I think it was my third time ever playing Collectors. I was playing...hell, I'm not sure, QME I think? Anyway, it's the extraction round and I'm running around the map, trying to draw the enemies away from the LZ, when I notice everyone else in my team is down.

I go rushing back to the LZ and find all my time are wiped out, no doubt by the two Scions unloading on them from a distance, along with a liberal helping of abominations. I throw a couple of spare arc grenades to clear the troopers and reckon I can rely on cover to revive my team mates without taking a shot from the Scions.

I reckoned incorrectly.

What followed was about 40 full seconds of someone reviving one or two players, then getting wiped out, then the newly revived players reviving us before getting taken down, over and over and over again. Every time I got control of my character, he'd be knocked down again by the Scions before I could do anything. The worst part was, I had a couple of missiles left, so if I had just decided to play it safe I could have killed the Scions first.

I think someone managed to extract, lone survivor, but it sure as hell wasn't me.

Playing Gold Collectors yesterday. Hazard Ghost, 2 terrible team mates 1 good. First 5 waves I and the other good player own the Collectors, our two team mates are constantly dying, but we can handle it.... then he leaves, as host, wave restarts, me and 1 terribad. I more or less solo the wave.

Two competent players join the game...... And from that moment on I go down every 5 seconds, sync kills, abomination explosions, scion grenades, you name it. I come off as a total noob, all my earlier skill far gone, and we lose at wave 8. I was so ashamed I quit instantly when back in the lobby.

Playing a male Quarian Infiltrator and trying to get Arc Pistol Use at the same time, and wasn't familiar with either.

Turns out I had to be -alive- to make progress on Arc Pistol Use. Took me a while to get that one figured out....

I contributed to a failtastic wipe yesterday or the day before much like this... except worse. Platinum... 2 of us were sync killed, the other guy goes down to ravager acid when 1 marauder is left. I don't move to rez because, hey, 1 marauder, right? He doesn't move to gel because, hey, 1 marauder, right?

Elbow of doom. Last medigel.

ELBOW OF DOOM.

I think I hid under my desk for the next hour out of shame.

once - was playing with various toons throughout the weekend - got confused in the last 5 seconds of extraction - After gently calling out the 15sec marker -
.....and forgot I wassn't playing with grenade guy and instead of spaming the grenades did a superman impression across the whole damm map.
Biotic Charged OUT of extraction with 3 sec, left... Failed the whole group..

Flubbing a solo on wave 11 with no medigel left due to getting health-gated, hopping into cover and not seeing the single swarmer and husk behind me.

And

Last banshee before a wave was done, everybody else was dead ... I played pretty darn well to clear everything else ... Missed the banshee with 1 armor bar left four times with a widow as it walked slowly towards me. It started up its teleport routine again after shot #4 and I got myself cut off by a block of concrete and grabbed.

Oh and one more. When I was kroganing vs. Gold Reapers. I had to carry a wave but the team had already killed most of the spawn budget. The last few enemies were a brute, some cannibals, and a ravager. I lure the brute away from his friends and work him down to 1 bar of armor. As I must headbutt/backhand all the things, I move in for the kill. I charge in, heralding the glory of tuchanka, and....he lives...only to pick me up and smash me to the ground. I left before everyone got back to the lobby.

Had a maxed out kit with my Geth Trooper soldier. Hit ready and before I could cancel my ready... I realized everyone on the team was playing infiltrator.

I died more times then Kenny did in southparks first season.
