Just saw a rather depressing thread, suggesting the QMS was "lackluster" and needed changes/buffs.

Ofc, OP was using sabotage.<_<

So here is how (what I thought what obvious) to spec your QMS:
6/6/0/6/6

Skip sabotage. This power has about 7% synergy with tc scan, and 0% synergy with marksmen.

The only way you could possibly use sabotage in combination with one of the other powers:
Sabotage enemy...Wait...Wait...Wait...Wait...Wait...Tac scan his target... Sabotaged ally has a split second of increased dmg to their target, and then turns back into foe.

Compare that, to this:
Tac scan Atlas... Marksmen + AR(or Hurricane)... 5 seconds pass and atlass is dead...

I know this has no doubt been covered, but I guess some people are just now unlocking the kit or something, because they don't seem to fully worship the QMS as it must be.

Also, you HAVE to color your QMS red/bage, like Kal'Reegar, its teh law.
