I'm pretty much exclusively playing PUG's. A while back I played a few games with real life friends but then they moved on to MW3 and Halo Reach before moving on to Black Ops 2 and Halo 4.

I play two or three pugs a day working on challanges, mainly silver, sometimes a gold and I really enjoy them, IMHO a pug that struggles with a level can make one a better player.
Had a blast this afternoon, my Volus Eng was a level 1 decided to see what was going down in bronze as I haven't played a bronza pug in months, actually had a great time. Ran into 2 first time players, I think some that have played a while could learn from bronze players, it was interesting they all worked very hard ob objectives and stayed as a group...I mainly observed and did objectives, if things became tense I would open up a bit, kept the team alive and am proud I came in last place:)....received two friend requests which I thought was funny.
Maybe for Christmas we should consider doing a few bronze matches and just help them out to get credits, maybe take them under your wing into a silver game, most of us can carry a silver team and the karma may pay off.....at least this way they might get some easy credits and it is the giving season.

I do. Have a few names on my FL but they are mostly offline when I play, or when they are on and they invite me I'm already in a game...

I PUG Gold most of the time. Only got 1 friend who plays Mass Effect so I'm forced to play by myself a lot.

Pug bandit here. None of the players I used to roll with play anymore.
Getting kind of bored myself.

I play mostly private games because my friends are lovely, intelligent, beautiful people. Plus it's kind of fun to have geth, geth everywhere. Though I slip into pick-up groups on bronze/silver sometimes, every now and then, when I feel like playing around with strangers.

I always pug... since my friends have other friends, and most of them also moved on. D: When they do invite me, sometimes it is the worst of times... like me being in the middle of another match, and about to leave to go elsewhere.

Only pug gold for me. It's why I have so few consumables. A good challenge though.

PUG. I think I was invited to a grand total of one game. And that was during the whole big "locked out of MP servers, no way back in" fiasco months ago.
All my friends play Halo. But I'm working on it! I'm buying them a copy of ME3 for Christmas...

Me too. Got very few people on my friends list, and I often get connexion problems when I try to join their lobbies or matches. Wish I could play more with them, though, it's really fun.
But overall, I've had a good experience playing with randoms.

I have only played PUGs. I think once, has one of my friends joined onto one of the matches I have started.

If I'm not soloing, I PUG. I've only just started soloing thanks to the new challenge system, got 3 bronzes under my belt.

I prefer the uncertainty pugs bring. The game never gets old if you never really know if you can trust your team mates... when against all odds you end up playing with a couple amazing players it feels that much better.

I only play in pugs. They are fun and I often offer to carry new players through a few silver matches just to gain them some credits. I'm a regular Silver & Bronze player at least for the time time being. Pugs = Good experience for when Solo time comes. I love pugs with all my heart. I have never kicked anyone from any of my games. If you want to play with me, I'm glad to have you. My PSN ID is in my sig.

I mostly play PUGs, even after joining the Alliance PS3 Hazard Force.
Part of that is because the challenges have forced me to use sub-optimal weapons with non-favored kits. And I don't want to subject the group to that. I should probably get back into private games, though. Some of the stuff I've seen lately boggles the mind. At the same time, it's really nice when you can find a truly skilled player in a public game. Especially if they stick around for more than one match.

I PuG gold 95% of the time. Its definitely much better experience then most people say. I find most people that join PuGs to be quite capable.

When you put it that way, yes. Less than 50 or so of the games I have played have been through the invite system. I play mostly pugs and most of them have succeeded.

I play PUG 99,8% of the time. The rest is when I duo some games with my sister, but that's rarely, mostly when we have some leveling up to do. Usually we just play PUG matches together.
