if my friends aren't online, i go with pugs, or 1 or 2 pugs and friend. in the beginning i had no friends from ME so i had to go with pug. how else can you find good players to shoot with?

I only pug, added to people after a topic I posted, but a bit to shy/uncertain about my own performance to ask them to join a game with me. However, I have improved a lot since switching to my asari huntress infiltrator.

i always ask better player then me to join so they can teach me...abusive, i know, but how else i'm i going to learn? read about it one thing, doing it in battle is whole other story. don't be shy! what is the worst thing that can happen? be refused by stranger?

Yep, send people a message or an invite to play. If they don't join then oh well, not somebody I would like to play with anyways if they are all that concerned about how well you play (as long as you try your best).

I have some friends who are pretty good at the game and when i'm with them it's a guaranteed Extraction on Gold, and we usually extract on Platinum. However, i have to be honest and say i prefer to play the game with a PUG. Purely because when i play with my freinds i know what to expect, so it actually becomes boring, even if the guaranteed credits are nice.
In a PUG, you are dropped into a hot combat situation with 3 strangers, who equally could be anything from being the best players on the planet to a complete bunch of muppets

What's weird is that I like pub games because it feels more like the other 3 are actually their characters, you know? Like we're 4 soldiers fighting in this war who have been thrown together by circumstance. If there's one guy playing a Volus and repeatedly dying, I can't get mad - he can't help being born a silly Volus. But if an IRL friend was doing that, I'd be like "Oh come on [insert name here], what the hell are you playing at?"

Been PuGing since day one. Once in a blue moon I'd party with a team I worked we'll with if they invite me. (I'm always too shy to send invites) And some of them I kept as friends but the majority of them moved on to other games.

Silver and Gold pugging all time. Platinum - friends only. Didn't get a single friend invitation from pick-up group in last three months for some reason, only people from my friends' friend list. And I'm fine with pugging, so I don't bother inviting first.
