It does I think, you should be able to configure the ''quick-install'' file in the SCS2 directory and then simply let it install everything you preselected. Don't quote me on that though.

You edit quick-install.ini (or take the defaults) and then run setup-scsii_autoinstall.exe. It's great, it does exactly what you said. I would edit some of the defaults, for example smarter_mages(full_prebuff) to smarter_mages(no_prebuff), but that's just me. It sounds like you would also like to edit new_beholders_with_burnthru to new_beholders_no_burnthru as well.

Do druids also get bonus spell slots for high wisdom, the way clerics do? Also is there a requirement of a certain amount of wisdom to get access to each spell level for clerics/druids? (e.g. wizards need 18 intelligence to get level 9 spells - at least they did in SoA, ToB might have patched this out?).

A few quick questions. How much exp i can get by the end of SOA and how much by the end of TOB. I will be playing with SCS2, i will do every possible quest (without infinite exp cheats). I will have 5 chars until i get Imoen back, then i will have 6. I will have 4 characters able to write spells into spellbooks and i will learn all possible spells i can get - using flasks of genius for higher int. I will also do most NPC side quests, even those not in my party will be temperary invited for their quests. I am asking because i will dual my fighter at 13 and i wonder when he will get time stop and how high his level will be.

On your install, if you cast fireball or some fire spell on your fire elemental (mage and druid ones, also the summoned ones from wand), did they attack you ?

Which are the timed quests in BG2 SoA?

Korgan and Edwin have pestered me about going to the Graveyard district to find a book and a scroll. Should I worry they will bugger off, or can I take my sweet time?

Yikes and Crap!! Then I have to bugger over there and hope for the best. If they leave I'll have to start over, because the whole point about this playthrough was to have an evil-ish party, where those two are obviously the centerpieces. Now when I had *finally* gotten the members I wanted too... Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, Jan and Haer-Dalis.

A fighter with a protection from undead scroll could kill most of the enemies all by themselves. Turn Undead of course can also help. I think you would need Edwin present when you fought the lich though.

Was on the way to the slaver ship, but we hauled ass back to the graveyard, and thankfully got there in time. At level 9-ish, it was a horrible slog though. But we managed to get out of there alive, just, with barely a spell left.

Do anybody know how many days we have before Korgan (or Edwin) splits? It's a pretty tough area, and since we can pick up Korgan at basically the first area we go to, it's not easy. Think it had been about 4 days since I picked him up, maybe 2 with Edwin.

Are all personal quests on a tight time schedule?

You don't have to finish some of them to satisfy the NPC. Often so long as you get to a certain stage they are happy. I'm not the expert about that though.

I'd love to see an overview of the quests with a time limit. Is there one anywhere? I spent the best part of an hour searching for one, but I can't find it anywhere.

Edwin and Korgan should be safe now, but Haer-Dalis have started complaining about going back to the Inn. I've just gotten the lad, and know he will be kidnapped, and I struggled something fierce to do that area in my first playthrough, therefore I don't want to do that just yet.

No sign of a Jan or Viconia mission yet, but are they timed too? Would be great if the game gave us a proper time limit, like happens in the Underdark for example. Maybe it would be a bit 'gamey', but then we'd know when they would leave, instead of the risk of an NPC suddenly uprooting.

Don't know of any overview of quests with time limit either.

I hate the NPC complaints, details of the ones I specifically remember.
Jan has a time limit.
I don't think Viconia has a limit, other than saving her before the fire is lit.
Minsc usually shuts up if you go to Umar.

You could open up a savegame in Shadowkeeper and find the quest timer variables. Add a couple of noughts to the end of the values.

Haer-Dalis can be worked around but you should do him soon... I'd go do the slave ship before attempting his rescue because that 'Death Fog' scroll makes the final boss a cake walk.

I will add the question here also. I just came into underdark, i think i did basicly all the quests i could ( i only skipped Kangax quest and rune ). exept quests from NPCs not in my party. I had 5 members during all that time, i only took yoshimo to spellhold for his heart, now i got imoen. And looking at minsc he had 2.700.000 experience. Doesnt this sound a bit much ?? Playing with scs2 ..
