Sometimes in the lobby it says I have an N7 level of 40,000 or something ridiculous, and tons and tons of trophy points, when I barely have any. Does this happen to anyone else? What gives?

It happens when someone else leaves the lobby and you are pushed into their slot. Then you get their data displayed.

What Jimmy said. Flick across to the squad equipment display (right) and it will reset.

It sometimes fixes itself, but you can also flip to the equipment screen and back again to force a refresh.
