I would laugh...I would laugh so very hard.
Then return to playing far cry 3 or another good game.
How would you react if Bioware canonized Synthesis if they made a sequel?

Mass Effect games are some of the best games out there. I hate Synthesis, but I'd go with it IF (and ONLY IF) I knew eventually I'd get "my" ending (Successful Refuse). I think it would be hard to not buy any ME games for 6 years while I waited for my specific ending, so I'd play the others in the meantime. On the other hand, I'd probably pass if all I knew I was getting is ME4 Synthesis, part 1, ME5 Synthesis part 2, ME6 Synthesis part 3...
I think Bioware can increase sales of "less popular" choices by packing them with favorite squadmates from previous games. If Synthesis has Garrus, Tali, EDI, Miranda and Legion Mk II, while Destroy has Garrus, Wrex, Liara, VS and Jack, there would be some pick up in sales. There are more than enough extra squaddies lying around to make 4 games without doubling up too much for the permanent squad. The others can make cameos.
That...could actually work pretty well. Except Miranda's dead. She wouldn't tell me what she needed the data for.
Honestly though, that might work. ME:S, ME:D, ME:C. As seperate games following those endings, maybe spin each into its own franchise. No, never mind. That would be the biggest d*** move ever, of all time.
I still don't think too many people would buy them all. Besides, what happens if my ending doesn't have my favorite squadmate return? You know BW would catch a lot of grief for that.

I honestly don't care if they ever mention the ending at all, maybe even act like it never happened. Hell they spent 2 whole games avoiding what Quarians look like, even though 100,000's of pics had to be all over the internet in Sheps time.
I could live with them ignoring the endings completely, the Reapers just disappeared, no more info needed, now let me play the game in ignorant bliss.

If you killed Miri you can have Ori instead.
BW is going to catch grief no matter what they do at this point unless they completely retcon the end of ME3, which they probably won't do. They would have to spead out the popular sqaddies to increase sales of unpalatable endings (or just put Team Dextro in every game). I mean, "ME:S featuring Jacob, James and Diana Allers as permanent sqaddies" would be a hard sell.

They wouldn't canonize synthesis because its the most backwards, lore retconning, and anti-theme adhering one of them all. Themes in the game say its bad to force people to become cyborgs thats one of reasons we stop the reapers because they keep making zombie cyborgs now just because its shep forcing everyone to become cyborgs its ok? I think not.
But reapers make mind-controlled cyborgs. Shepard makes free-will cyborgs.

I'd be horrified if they canonized any ending.
Which is why no sequel can be made. And a prequel or side-story is destined to fail as the whole concept of player agency is thrown out the window when events have known outcomes before the first player gets his hands on the game. The only way to not canonize one ending over the others (including refusal) is to run with IT, which runs into the problem of literally pissing on everyone's choices if they don't like the idea of waking up and having another shot at beating the Reapers properly.
The IP is dead, and biowEAr needs to let it alone.

Are you so sure of that? You have Reapers and Reaper units mingling with the rest of the races of the galaxy. No one seems to care that their former enemies, the monsters who were killing and desecrating their friends and family only hours ago, are now rubbing shoulders. What besides mind control or mind alteration could make this possible? Not to mention that if you have free will, you have arguments. There are still differences between races. Differences which could drive wedges. Which means that it's not only possible that another war will break out, but an almost certainty. The ONLY way to prevent a future war is to make changes to how people think; EG: brainwashing. Which to me is about the exact opposite of free will.

People get over stuff. Especially once they understand. Ages of cycles all brought to an apex at you. You survived. You will hear the tales of the old races, not become another story yourself. Ego can make someone very forgiving.
Besides, there is no evidence of brainwashing. And Reapers and their troops help rebuild. Just like with the geth, that wil go a long way to helping people forgive.

EC was a fan-service DLC that focused on making the endings happier. They're not going to focus on the depressing things, like whatever conflicts people might have with the Reapers. The original ending did about enough of that for the fans already.
One reconstruction site with Reapers around does not mean the whole galaxy accepted them without any issues.
It's the same reason why you don't see dead geth in Destroy epilogue.
