Can I save you all some time?
- They didn't explicitly say they were bisexual, so they aren't!
- Not all bisexuals declare that they are!
- It's not realistic!
- Nothing is realistic!
- They should make exclusively gay romances!
- They said they won't make exclusively gay romances!
- Sexuality is a huge part of every character!
- Sexuality is not a huge part of every character!
- My immersion!
- *My* immersion!!!
- I have a great idea! They should put in a toggle for those who dislike homosexual content! I'm a genius!
- LOCKDOWN
PS. Isabela is most emphatically not white.

What bothers me is people thinking gay/lesbian characters are being shoved down their throats when they're not.

Thedas is inspired by Europe. Do you honestly care if there's no black/Asian/Latino/etc party members? It doesn't mean BioWare is racist. I'm not even white and it doesn't bother me.

If you can find an excuse to include at least two gay/bisexual companion characters per game than i don't think it would be that hard to justify including non white characters in an entirely fictionaly land whether it's based on europe or not.

and
including options for GLBT isn't catering, it's including.
Str8ties get all the companions they want- all the ones that GLBT can have, AND exclusively straight ones (as per DAO and ME1).
So knock it off already. You're like a child pitching a fit because mommy told you you have to be nice to the other kids. A character being an OPTION for someone else doesn't effect you one tiny bit.

As for Orzammar, there's a very good reason why the dwarven birthrate is in a death spiral. Branbka and Hespith were just more open about it. Let's just say that the animosity between Behelen and Harrowmount was on a more personal level than would appear at first blush. Once Bhelen discovered Brother Burkel, that was it for the high profile couple.
How you ignored Anora and Cauthrien with the evidence staring you in the face is amazing. The only straight NPC in all of DAO is Erlina and she's hung up on Loghain, who wants nothing to do with her because he's in mourning over Cailan.
Why would Bioware give up on a proven relationship formula to cater to you own personal desires?

I don't even care about this series but I see this as the last recently discussed topic on the forum overlay and wow. I actually feel bad for bioware having to deal with people like OP.

Nothing the OP said justifies your rediculous name calling. Grow up

I understand if you feel that we should be sensitive to other minority groups as well. One advantage of LGBT is that it requires only writing in order to implement. It's "lower hanging fruit" so to speak.
Having said that, I am going to close this thread since I don't see much good coming of it.
