May I suggest, during the final extraction wave, consider implementing a warning or buzzer when there is only 10 or 15 seconds remaing until extraction! I have no idea how difficult this may possibly be for you guys but I think it would be nice to have! The only reason I suggest this is, a number of times I have been outside the extraction zone either surrounded and fighting or reviving someone or something and have forgot to look at the countdown timer until the voice says the extraction has arrived. By that time there is only like 4 seconds left and it's too late to make it to the extraction. It doesn't happen every time but enough to wish there was some sort of warning. I know I'd greatly appreciate it. It'd be great in my opinion, but if not...I'm sure I'll live! Thanks

Is your squad yelling/crying into their mics not enough for you??

The announcer b!tches at you the whole time to get to EZ.

What more warning do you need?

The timer goes red when it's 30 seconds left too.

I'm pretty sure (though I might be imagining this) I've heard a really quiet staticy voice mumble something with about 10 secs to go but not on every match.

On a side note am I going insane?

You get a warning at 0:45... 45 seconds is still a long time, you can run a complete lap around most maps in that time, perform several revives, kill many enemies, etc. It's not close enough to make you think "I better get to the LZ now". Also, 9 times out of 10 this announcement is the famous low volume, staticky, "nav bearing" that is barely noticeable anyway.

You get another warning at the 5 second mark, which is far too late if you are still frantically kiting on the opposite side of the map.

A loud, clear warning at the 15 second mark would be ideal.

Maybe just rework the timing so that the announcer doesn't actually say "get to the extraction zone" until then. As it is it just encourages your teammates to act like lemmings.

He starts b!tch!ng after 2 seconds and never stops...sooo, im just saying like a 15 seconds left buzzer or something not our commentator repeating himself

At 45 sec you will always here, what I believe to be one onboard navagation officer say Nav to right.....even if I have a glitch with no times, I know the time is very close to head to the LZ

The giant clock and specific voice prompts aren't enough? Changes to extraction reminders would be a waste of dev time in my opinion.

Let me guess, you've failed full extraction due to people tooling about elsewhere?

You know what else you can do instead of asking BioWare to bend to your every whim?

Be aware of your environment.

God, I swear some people just get off on being a smart @ss!!!! Asking BioWare to bend to my every whim? I believe this would be the first time I've ever suggested, or asked anything of BioWare. And yeah, as I said it was just a suggestion. I don't think I wrote please do stuff for me BioWare, I have no clue what is going on while I'm playing! It's not like I'm suggesting they restructure the whole God D@mn multiplayer! Why even bother commenting on the post? About what you actually said though, I do try to be aware. Just every once in a while, something may distract me for a few seconds.

Its... not that hard paying attention to the timer... It IS the extraction wave so it's not like you don't know what you should do.

Well... I always hear some mumbling, with static from the announcer which coincides with the subtitles. I think my game has been hacked by indoctrinated forces...

The only time I've missed extraction due to not being aware of the time was when I got a glitch that prevented the timer from showing and the announcer from announcing.

It's not hard to look at the timer every now and again. If that fails, be one of Those Guys that camps the extraction, aka hackstraction.

I had this thread too. It's stupid to tell people to die by saying get to the LZ when there is a 2 minute wait period. The only other audible warning is at 45 seconds, and if you are really concentrating so you don't die by blinking, and perhaps a bit fatigued, it's too easy to miss the LZ. We really could use some sort of audible note again at around 15 seconds. While many can truthfully say current warnings are ok, they are not as good as they could be. It is more than reasonable to provide something audible at around 15 seconds.

FYI, the time I do this most often is trying to rescue someone else.

The best way to improve the extraction wave: "Shuttle inbound. Get to the LZ." -> "Shuttle inbound. Stay the hell away from the LZ."

there are more important things that could have 'warnings' provided for them... damn silent praetorians...

anyway, there is an audio cue that happens at 45 seconds, and it's not like you don't have an on screen timer ticking away during the entire extraction wave... maybe you should pay attention to that

The ability to keep it cool and keep an eye on the extraction timer even while fighting for your life is the mark of a veteran soldier. Keep practicing. ;)

Better yet, have the announcer only pester us to get to the LZ around 20-40 seconds.
/report announcer "tricking nubs to lure bosses to the LZ for the full 2 minutes to screw up the full extraction with that one grenade or unavoidable boss aimbot shot"
