At 45 sec you will always here, what I believe to be one onboard navagation officer say Nav to right.....even if I have a glitch with no times, I know the time is very close to head to the LZ

Well... I always hear some mumbling, with static from the announcer which coincides with the subtitles. I think my game has been hacked by indoctrinated forces...

I was a pilot in my younger years:) Sometimes what we hear over a headset can be very difficult, get's easier with time....in this case I listened to hundreds of games as I was curious....pretty sure that is what he is saying although why are they always nav'ing to the right on all the maps:)

Edit: In pugs I will usually mic up at 30 seconds and remind the team, playing with friends never really a need

I'm sometimes in berserker mode and killing foes left and right, without noticing that the timer is going low. I wish there was warning at 30 seconds or 20.

May I suggest, during the final extraction wave, consider implementing a warning or buzzer when there is only 10 or 15 seconds remaing until extraction! I have no idea how difficult this may possibly be for you guys but I think it would be nice to have! The only reason I suggest this is, a number of times I have been outside the extraction zone either surrounded and fighting or reviving someone or something and have forgot to look at the countdown timer until the voice says the extraction has arrived. By that time there is only like 4 seconds left and it's too late to make it to the extraction. It doesn't happen every time but enough to wish there was some sort of warning. I know I'd greatly appreciate it. It'd be great in my opinion, but if not...I'm sure I'll live! Thanks

This. So much. I've been thinking the exact same thing for some time now.

Yeah, you get a reminder at 45sec and then nothing until the timer hits 2 sec

You know what else you can do instead of asking BioWare to bend to your every whim?

Be aware of your environment.

God, I swear some people just get off on being a smart @ss!!!! Asking BioWare to bend to my every whim? I believe this would be the first time I've ever suggested, or asked anything of BioWare. And yeah, as I said it was just a suggestion. I don't think I wrote please do stuff for me BioWare, I have no clue what is going on while I'm playing! It's not like I'm suggesting they restructure the whole God D@mn multiplayer! Why even bother commenting on the post? About what you actually said though, I do try to be aware. Just every once in a while, something may distract me for a few seconds.

So...you sometimes make a mistake? Sounds like something that happens to a regular human being. It's not reasonable to expect extraction all the time.

As you said, you try to be aware, and that's good because you get better the more you try. You're on the right road, so it's unnecessary to ask BioWare to do you favors like alert you when you can instead become a better player.

What the constant shuttle pilot voiced warnings aren't enough. I actually think there's too much emphasis on getting to the LZ during the extraction wave.

It's all in the wrong spots. He should start shouting at: 45 secs, 30 secs and finaly at 15 secs.

It never did for me.

nor for me.

and this entire week, there have been no announcements at all. One on match there wasnt even a timer! I didnt want to camp in the LZ with the other 3 so i was lurking elsehwere.  Luckily i guessed the time and ran back to the LZ, got there just in time.

Can we have an announcer that shouts at people who go INTO the LZ when there's MORE than 15 secs on it? Something like 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE'. It would be appreciated :))

I've never heard anyone use their mics while playing this. Once I heard an Italian guy speaking to someone else in the room in Italian who apparently didn't realise the mic was on, but that's it.

I've almost never missed the extraction unless I got kileld by a Banshee or something..

Tohguh once or twice I got so caught up with fightign a bunch of enemies and having too much "fun" to remember the timer :P then Igot the 5 seccond warning and saw the timer was at 3 seconds..

So maybe less warnings at the beginning, maybe more of a prepare for extraction at the beginning and a warning when you get closer to extraction. the 5 seconds warning isn't very useful. Either you're there or you likely won't make it.

I'm pretty sure (though I might be imagining this) I've heard a really quiet staticy voice mumble something with about 10 secs to go but not on every match.

On a side note am I going insane?

I hear it too sometimes, always within the last 45 seconds or so of the extraction. No idea what it says, unless someone wants to mute the music and listen intently

There is such a voice, but when it speaks it is basically telling you that if you don't already have 1 foot in the LZ you won't make it. Something distinct and clearly heard needs to be added about 10 seconds prior to that. The end voice is of no help at all (and as you mentioned, it isn't clear anyway).

when im play with friends they always tell it for sure that "20 seconds" or 15... some pugs do that too. but i never had problems to extract, only when i died in the LZ before 3-4 seconds or i died trying running there and i had 0 medigels.

The mumbling occurs at 0:45 and I think it's the shuttle pilot saying "Nav Buoy".

The static mumble voice is the shuttle pilot calling, "I have the bearing," about 45 seconds before he lands, or some variation of that. (which may include, "I have the nav bearing/ anything with nav and bearing in it) I feel with the last DLC they actually upped the volume on this little saying, and I hear it quite often. The only times it really gets muffled now is when all of the biotic/tech/explosions of any kind are going off in my game at close range, or a banshee is screaming in my face.

Lately I've been having a lot of glitches where there is no sound and no timer during the extraction wave. Very confusing. Although now that I think of it.. That would make zero difference as far as OP is considered since if they implemented any sort of warning system you wouldn't know if you were in this glitch.

Jeez when did some of BSN turn into a bunch of elitist. OP was only making a suggestion you don't have to be so rude towards him. Lighten up people.

Anyways I don't think it's a bad idea. GOW 3's Annex mode has an intense countdown sound when the game is about to end. I'm sure whatever the devs do would be great but I'm also fine the way it is now.
