The arrogance is crossing into illegal activity with that video. If he made that himself, he would be wise to take out that logo at the start of the ad. He's already treading thin ice, no need to jump on it just to prove how much balls he's got.

I don't think the mod will get taken down yet, but if he keeps shoving it in biowares face it will be. He's gotten a mod most people like, he should just count his victories and work on improving it instead of bragging about it.

MrFob didn't make that trailer. At least I don't think.

Whoever made that video should take it down. My points still stand, it's not wise to shove this in biowares face, especially when they are allowing mr.fob to do this instead of filing for legal action against him.

The fan who made this probably had good intention, but the trailer is a step in the wrong direction, espically by putting the bioware logo at the start, that crap will get you sued.

Yea, I agree.

I'm all for modding but it's actually pretty ignorant to use Bioware's work to spite them. Afterall it is just files being moved around to change the context of the ending.

I don't think Bioware will take the actual mod down as that would be bad PR. However I do see them taking issue with the trailer.

I commend the effort put into this, the maker has some skillz.

But I like the official endings way more. They make sense as they are.

And I dislike being misled with a thread title. I would've checked this thread out even if the thread title was accurate. No need for lies, (wo)man.

If the game had actually that much heart, I wouldn't hate it so much. I could definitely live without the Liara part, but that is my preference. Not too hard to tell what my preference would have been. Too bad bioware butchered that path. Wouldn't want any actual options or choices that matter, now would we?

Bioware is not going to take legal action against this mod for several reasons. But mainly? They have been extremely supportive of fan endeavors. All community work benifits bioware, so long as its non profit and not tarnishing the company's reputation.

If this was Shepards **** Porno mod, then you might see legal shenanagins.

I just think it's hilarious how some of you have now payed Bioware twice for the game.

Oh well isn't that grand if your LI was a ME2 one you get shafted yet again and people wonder why I tend to be more than a little angry and upset when it comes to Liara and lean towards spite and disgust and at times hate for her character. Is it ok for me to hate on Liara for my favorite characters getting shafted? Hmmm well I don't know spite, disgust, anger are all human emotions, sure maybe being spiteful toward the favorite main LI isn't right and maybe I could be upset at BioWare and the faces behind it and maybe I'm to harsh on poor Liara she's just a fictional character it's not her fault.

Well the way the human mind works is hey something is gone and is replaced by this thing and I don't like this thing so I'm gonna voice it and in ME3 that thing just happened to be Liara who replaced and took over the spot of nearly all LIs and even if your LI was Garrus, Kaidan, Tali, Ash, Samantha, Steve, you still get Liara moving in as default LI in more than one spot in the game. So yeah I think I can hate on a fictional character for such crap.

Anyway sorry for that rant (WTF no I'm not, I'm not one bit sorry for that rant) that mod trailer has lots of effort and heart and passion in it.... and I was reading the comments below on N4g site and one of them claimed to be from BW and it went on to say sorry here I'll just grab it

"From Bioware:

Dear fan please stop tormenting us about the ending, we beg you to stop. We recognize that the ending wasn't the best the first time round and have done our upmost to fix that mistake. Yes, yes we also know the patched ending wasn't good enough either but it was impossible for us to fulfill all your need after the fact. We're sorry we lied to you the fans about the fact that each individual one of you would have your own different ending with millions of possibilities and scenarios to. We humbly ask that you forgive us and buy our next game please, PLEASE! Now please enjoy MEHEMS trailer as a good substitute for our own"

I'm sorry I was laughing at this because it is like the excate opposite of how BW talks to their fans they sugar coat calling us idiots and whiny fans, and unrealistic, and have no respect for their art, and all sorts of other good things and for some reason I find myself thinking of this fellows wonderful blogs and comments here on BSN http://social.bioware.com/1120213/

Dude is making Bioware more money
I honestly believe that Bioware would spend more money taking legal action agaisnt the guy than what they would get from him as a reward.  Plus a lot of people here like the mod, and the guy is doing for free and not making money off of it.  If Bioware did take action they are going to ****** off more of the small hardcore audience left. I just don't see a good reason to persecute the poor fellow...Is like going after the Marauder Shields Comics guy.

It's happier.  It's bittersweet with a greater emphasis on the sweet.  

I also find it an ironic refutation of the charge that people just want a Disney ending.

Good luck with that, hes not earning money from it and if he does get donations they're just that, donations. The end result is still free.
