I'm well aware of their affinity towards slavery and raiding. But of course, not all Batarians fit the criteria. Now most of the Batarians that Shepard interacts with on a one on one basis seemed like reasonable regular people who follow the golden rule. Yet round these parts Batarians are regarded as the scum of the galaxy. What I'd like to know is why do you hate them? Is it the eyes? The appearance? The aggression?

The same reason "Modern" FPS are all about killing brown people. They are an established "bad guy", so its acceptable to dehumanize them.

Not fond of slavers either but not all slavers are batarians.

I never really found them interesting. Are they anything other than humans with an extra set of eyes? All the other races have unique dispositions, if that makes any sense. Salarians: quick and intelligent. Turians: disciplined, strict. Asari: live long, also intelligent, diplomatic. Quarians: resourceful, strong relationship with Geth

See what I mean? How are Batarians different?
