I really wish they didnt drop the humans first/ borderline xenophobic Shepard we could play in ME1... would have been so interesting if they had let you keep that attitude all the way through the series, a Shep who doesent like aliens forced to try and unite the races? GOLD!

What about the batarian from garrus's squad? Or the one who started the youth program designed to help other races connect to eachpther and learn about eachother? Or the sick batarian who seemed to be rightfully suspicious of humans and who admitted when he was wrong?

Seriously though, I don't mind Batarians all that much, they are pretty cool and some of the ones you meet are OK guys. But that doesn't mean I'll even hesitate for a moment to shoot them if they get delusion of grandeur and try to get in my way.

All the batarians i´ve seen there are a few good ones, most of them are terrorist or slavers so i try my best to kill or be urde to them. the game pretty much want us to hate them, so why not, i´ll follow the lead

I don't hate batarians. My Ruthless Colonist Shepard does though and for good reasons.

What I hate more is hypocritical Paragon players who try to claim the moral high-ground yet at the same time it's exactly these people who seem to enjoy killing and making fun of batarians. Pathetic really...

just because I killed 300,000 of them doesn't mean I hate them.

In game, it's the same old story though. thier society evolved differently, they wouldn't conform to what the council considered the norm. So they isolated themselves so they could keep thier society the way they wanted without council interference.

When thecouncil rejected thier claim to the terminus systems, that pretty much sealed the deal.

I think you got that confused there. Very confused.

Most of the citizens weren't allowed to leave the system or planet they were on, and the only ones who did get to leave were slavers and criminals who were essentially banished from their own systems.

So it's not most, just like most americans are not soliders or overly patriotic crazies. It's just that we see them the most, but that's simply because of the circumstance of their goverment.

In ME3 we don't see many slavers or terrorist anymore, and most of the batarians are normal citizens like everyone else. So you can't really judge all of them for the actions of a few.
