Here's a new version.

Added hair, changed the eye glow again (Can easily revert back to the old one) and added controls to her hood, so that it can be folded back. Very mixed results, but it's a start.
Still a lot of details left, but this will most likely be how she will look like in the end.
And yes, I gave her a very tiny little smile in this picture
However, if someone finds a way to mod her in too the game, we will most likely not be able to have her with a folded hood. This is because of the constraints from the bone-structure within the game. Plus most of her voice lines already have the "mask" sound effect on top.

However, is this intended to be shown when she removes her mask on Rannoch? I ask because she only takes off her mask, not the entire helmet. You wouldn't really be able to see her hair.

You are absolutely correct
In the case of that happening. I so far see:
1 model of Tali adjusted for the game, with a fully animated face under the mask. (However, someone else will have to add her in to the game, as I have no skill in this area).
1 model of Tali with a removed mask, primarily aimed at machinima making and photo editing.
1 model of Tali with hair and animated hood (thus allowing the hair to be visible).
So far I have some smaller editing left. Primarily trying to "skin" the character properly to each bone. Hopefully she will be done this week, unless something happens

Yeah. It's a slightly moddified version. Will most likely use it as a base (it's so much fiddly work to add all the hair yourself). See it as a placeholder for when I get more spare time

Also...apparently, quarians are grey? I associate them with the purpleish color like SlipperyHammer's model, but...any other "experts of looking at past lens flare" out there?

I see her as having a purplish tint in her flesh tone.
I wonder, if this bedside pic could be replaced in the future with a rendered version of Tali.

Either a drawn to the style of the EC slides or rendered picture would be better, really. The fact that it's a real picture feels weird in-game. I don't necessarily want to change the "canon" of it as much as the art style.

The Photoshoped image of Ms. Kohistani that Bioware created was given a more purple look to it in addition to the infamous lens flare. This is a little different from the Extended Cut image which, according to GIMP, is a shade of brown. Though this could just be the effects added by the video editing software Bioware is using.
Unicron9 kept the nail polish in to retain as many similarities as possible with the original. The only major alteration made was giving Tali a greyer look, which I prefer over the purple.
I thought it a little odd to take Tali's suit color and extrapolate that out as the skin tone for all quarians and Tali herself; but that just my preference.

Just a little test render, I added the awesome retexture of Tali's armor (it can be found here http://social.biowar...8/index/9735492 ). So big thanks to the talented people in that thread
However, I do need a little bit of help.
Tali's "new" visor could do with a bit of a retexture. This texture can be found in this location:
"Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\CookedPCConsole\\BioD_Gth002_400Resolution_LOC_INT"
This is the visor that Tali "removes" in the cutscene on Rannoch. I've done some modifications, and it should fit in nicely.
If someone could help, then me and Tali would be very grateful
Note: Do not worry about the skin color of Tali. This can be changed in 10 min. I'll have a look and see how it looks tomorrow

This is, by far, a major improvment...... but surprisingly it remind's of that general face shape. Maybe it's just me.
Anyway, the work is awesome. I' like how the eye's have been portreyed as emmissive yet still have a hint of pupil in them. Also liking the wisp's of hair that are in view. It makes sense to have the hair swept back as it would be difficult to do so with the helmet on. But for for a few stands to show lend's to that uncontrollable wavy look in the bedside pic.
Regarding her implant's. Would it be worth considering altering the colour/texture to give them a different look? Silvery for example. Or with silver dot's to indicate contact points. They could maintain a black outline with a central silvery core running through them. Or some material that catches the light. Carbon ceramic honey comb for example. Atm the hair and the implant's are so similar in colour that in the past I mistook them for WoW style Elven eye brow's on top of the more human eye browage.
