So who would be paying the reviewers to make bad reviews? Who exactly?
Rival game development companies of course. The less reputation BioWare has, the more potential new fans rival companies will get. For example, people, who never wanted to try Witcher 2, or Halo 4, or Starcraft 2, (or whatever) may decide to try these games just because they were "very disappointed" with their favorite game...
...They may find something "they expected to see in ME3" in those games. So, they will just start to advertize those games on BSN for free, and keep attacking BioWare's reputation.
...Cheap and effective. Order some negative reviews, hire some people who will regulary troll on BSN, and wait for more income in nearest future. My guess is that companies like ActivisionBlizzard may be involved in sabotage. They just love to play dirty.
So you actually think some of the people here are hate the game because they were hired to?
And here I thought the IT was the biggest conspiracy on this forum. I'm afraid I have been mistaken.
Gee, I've heard about being paid to act like you love someone (it's frowned upon usually), and I even was offered money and expensive gifts when I was younger, but as yet no one has offered to pay me to hate someone.
And, yes Activision and Blizzard have games that don't sell very well so they need a way to get the edge on Bioware. Hmm, I could just as easily assume that Seival works for Biow--ok, even I can't say something so ridiculous.
Please, love has a price-hate, that's given freely.
But on a serious note, if there are any devs out there looking for a hired gun to heap hate on other devs, please contact me at: willhateforcash@nomorals.com
I'm pretty sure also that devs may well troll other company's forums, but they do it to judge trends and actually they get better info if they don't flood them with garbage. They also get ideas that people give for free along with a certain level of free disgust that every product achieves. Why pay for what you get for free? This is the dumbest thing I've heard yet, as if these other companies were so worried they needed to hire so many people to dislike a game ending that deserved free disgust.
