December 12th Balance Changes
So are they in effect tomorrow, or are you just preoccupied with the possible end of the world?
Wishful thinking that time will speed up and take them to their winter break already?
Must've been. He made a ninja change.
It's okay, High Lord Fagnan of Balance. We all make those mistakes sometimes. Except maybe NPlewes...

Why do these balance changes keep saying "New hazard maps this week"? There hasn't been a NEW hazard map in weeks. When are the actual new ones coming out?
There are no 'actual new ones'. Just the six original maps have had hazard versions made. Devs have said these are all we are getting but that "we like to do what you guys ask us for so if there's enough interest we might make more hazard maps in future".

This is honestly the worst set of balance changes in a while. Asari gets massive buff, Quarian gets next to nothing, other broken characters get nothing. There is no logical method behind these changes. It's simply based on emotion and whoever screams the loudest. Really bad.
The Asari gets a buff because they can't fix her normally, so for the moment, she gets a more creative buff to compensate. So until the next major MP DLC comes out and patches this stuff, she'll be a DoTing monster.
As for the Quarian, it'll probably be like the Vorcha Engineer, where Submission Net got buffed to Batarian levels on the next balance change.
And where are you getting this "emotion/who screams loudest" from?

There are other characters with broken powers that they've known about for longer, and they get nothing. No "creative" balance changes. Simply because of a huge thread with lots of people carrying on.
Great, another amazingly powerful Infiltrator. While most of the new classes are ****, BioWare feels the need to continually make sure the Infiltrators are the most dominant class.

Another character with Sabotage and you don't even touch sabotage very long cooldown really?
We are looking at Sabotage for next week's changes. We appreciate any feedback from the community on that power and how it should change.

Blade Armor doesn't return damage properly on Gold and Platinum levels. The 100%/250% damage it's supposed to deal - it just doesn't. This was tested and confirmed. The Batarian came out a while back, and this issue was reported a while back. Why do the Batarian's not get a compensatory balance change?

We have a very limited number of internal QA compared to the thousands of players who play our game. We like to listen to our community. I hope you're not saying that this is a bad idea?

Obviously, buff the cooldown for Sabotage to 8 sec will be perfect. Maybe they can revert the nerfs for hacking synthetics and the Tech Vulnerability from 50% to 75% or back to 100%?

Is that still true, or are you thinking of just leaving the Huntress as-is after today's buffs? I think it's nice to have a class that can do a lot of damage with DOT powers, but at the same time I think it's kind of antithetical to the idea of Tactical Cloak. It's not a very cool or interesting power if it only serves as the button you have to press before you use Dark Channel.

I say a shorter cooldown and/or revert back to having 2 hacked targets at once. But I feel like the cooldown is the thing that really kills this power's usefulness, not to mention the hacking evos were hit a little too hard in the inital change I think.Eric Fagnan wrote...
