Out of every party member, why do we get the one who is attained last and we therefore care the least about? I'd rather have Leliana, Sten or Zevran.

How do you know we get Oghren? Don't be silly, that is far from sure now.

How is Oghren attained last? If I did Orzammar first I would get him before Wynne or Zevran.

I did Orzammar first.

It was a pain, but I did it.

Which is what I did on my avatar character.

Also, IF Oghren is the character who stays with us, he has the most reason since he's pretty much exiled from Dwarven society and has nowhere to go. The other characters went their seperate ways -- at least I'm pretty sure they all had endings where they went off on their own for "things I have to take care of."

This assumes Dog doesn't count as a character, otherwise it'd be a bummer to get Oghren instead of my puppy :crying:

I mean... Oghren isn't even house trained.

Oghren becomes a general(If you do his sidequest) so I could see it make sense that the king or queen would send him to go help the wardens for a bit. I'm just glad the returning character isn't Leliana I hate her so damn much.

There in lies the problem. "An old favorite returns", by whose definition of an old favorite? Just by reading the forums alone, that definition is blurred obviously. I liked Oghren, sure, but he wasn't a favorite of mine.

Alistair clearly appears. I'm putting my money on him, rather than assuming Oghren because there's a red-headed dwarf seen from behind in the trailer.

dude Oghren is awesome, I don't see why people are complaining about him. As much as I would love Ali to be my partner, I still think Oghren is great choice. Of course I would choose Alistair over Oghren everytime, but that doesn't make Oghren a crappy choice either.

Why is everyone assuming it will be Oghren? Seems to me there was a hint that we will learn more about Morrigan and her fate. Now if that includes the old god child...that would make me happy.

1. Hes a comic relief character, the forced humour kind.
2. Hes a Dwarf.
3. Hes a Noober clone(See BG1) (See Sandal) with that Asschabs comment over & over.

Id rather gut him than listen to more of that. Everyone in entire game was far more amusing.

Edit: He had one small redeeming dialogue at Gates of Denerim, thats bout it.
Sadly it seems he is in - whatever.
