This guy can do some great DPS, especially against Geth enemies. I played two games so far on Platinum, one against Geth, and one against Reapers. This is the build I used, and I had no trouble staying alive or dealing damage:

Sentry Turret: 4b: Shock, 5b: Armor-Piercing Ammo, 6b: Flamethrower

Sabotage: 4b: Backfire

Homing Grenades: 4a: Damage 5b. Fire Damage 6b: Armor Damage

Armiger Legion: 4b: Damage & Capacity 5a: Power Damage 6b: Weapons Damage

Fitness: 4b. Durability

My loadouts for the games:

M-96 Mattock X with Extended Barrel and Extended Magazine (Sorry, I prefer the Mattock over the Harrier)
Acolyte X with Extended Barrel and Extended Magazine

Gear: Armor Piercing Rounds IV
Assault Rifle Rail Amp II (Ran out of III)
Cyclonic Modulator III
Warfighter Package V

What I did was that I threw my Turret into crowds and let it burn everyone and a shot grenades into them to set off Fire Explosions and also used Sabotage on anything with a gun and shot a grenade at them to detonate a Tech Burst (SABOTAGE DOES SET UP TECH BURSTS, EVEN ON ORGANIC TARGETS). I played aggressive, and this guy does have the potential to put out a lot of DPS when done right.

I used a similar build on gold and scored over 130k. He does a good job at giving damage. For some reason though, there were times I was accidentally hitting the LB button, expecting a Stim pack. I gotta get used to not having those anymore.

Meh, really boring build.
Effective, but boring.
I can't wait for the sabotage cooldown buff, then it will be really interesting.

Because he's focusing on the turret + Homing grenades by the looks of it.

Edit: Probably once they "fix" sabotage, he could adjust his build, but right now there's no point.

score doesn't mean much. I scored 170k with the disciple yesterday on gold...

As for the build, I will try this out. Not really excited about the character, but ill trust jack on it

If I get a respec card, I'll try tech vulnerability. I focused on the turret to set up Fire Explosions for me with the flamethrower.

That build looks pretty bad (hint: no tech vulnerability)

Why do you people put points into fitness, lol.

Just 66660 that thing and mow down everything. You may die from mistakes, but that's only from mistakes, not from part of strategy. All other times, you'll be killing things faster than your allies can find them.

Please let us know your thoughts after you try out the new build. I'm curious which one you think is better suited for platinum play.

Tech vulnerability only increases the damage of sabotage and the turret not homing grenades so I find fitness to be better.

Wrong.
homing and arc grenades are considered tech powers, even if they don't grant tech medals.

EDIT: proof

Pretty sure all nades are considered combat powers. I'm just wondering if candle was on to something. I assumed tech vulnerability increased the damage of tech combos. But if it doesnt, I can see why this build makes sense.

Edit: Nevermind

Sabotage + double Homing Nade = dead crowds. Tech Vulnerability + Homing Nade of any kind = loldeadboss.

Im not sure about this character. Maybe im just suffering a bit of lag but he seems to fall down like a sack of potatos every time he faces off with a phantom. Feels like im being shieldgated by every shot. This guy just can't seem to take  a hit.

Did homing grenades get nerfed? They feel exceptionally underpowered on this guy. Even when i choose power damage/power damage/weapons damage in training evolution.

I guess I'm wrong then, I was going off the fact they didn't give you tech medals. If tech vulnerability does increase the damage then they'll be better then the drell's homing grenades and you'll get tech bursts.
