None. Pick up energy drain as a infiltrator.

You get Sticky Grenades without investing in a bonus talent since that is a power on the vanilla infiltrator. So I suppose you could argue that they are superior to Inferno in that regard. They also have the interesting trick of apply the active ammo power's properties to the target, so you can use Disruptor Ammo and use a Sticky to apply and detonate a Tech Burst, which is a fairly unique ability.

Inferno Grenades are a pretty good power though. On Shepard they aren't quite as good as on Ash since you can instantly spam her whole supply on large targets and get very high DOT on them. Otherwise they are nice for setting up fire explosions.

Well, Sticky Grenade is a steaming pile of crap because of its tiny range and unimpressive damage. Meanwhile, Inferno Grenade is a steaming pile of crap because of its low damage. Neither one deserves any points, and you certainly don't want to waste your bonus power (which should be Defense Matrix or Energy Drain) on Inferno Grenade.

I personally would recommend taking Defense Matrix and just using Cloak -> Incinerate -> sniper shot. For anything still alive, detonate that fire explosion with nearly any ally power. Remember you don't even need to kill for a fire explosion anymore, so Garrus (which his quickly recahrging Concussive Shot) makes an excellent ally for an Infiltrator.

Have you never tossed an Inferno Grenade on armor/health? It kills, quickly, because the damage listed is the damage per second it does. Not to mention it priming for a Fire Explosion.

I'm with others though, there is probably better bonus powers.

If I had to pick one of those Id say that Inferno grenade is the better choice. If both are set for maximum damage, Inferno grenade deals more damage after its full duration is up. On top of that fact Inferno grenades set up fire explosions which are a great source of extra damage. Also Inferno grenades are much more likely to affect multiple targets with its vastly superior radius.

That all said, there are a lot of better options for a bonus power for an infiltrator shep which leaves just sticky grenade since between the two it's the only one that's innately on the character.

As had been said the better options can consistant of but is not limited to:
  • Energy Drain
  • Defense Matrix
  • Flare

Use incendiary ammo with a squadmate.

Throw grenade.

Fire explosion, 100% FREE.

Repeat.

bonus powers ... not really needed in me3.

i use ap-ammo .. cause i can (warp is better but does not fit to a non-biotic char)

the sticky grenade is not my fav ... it often misses the target because of the small delay between pushing the button and throwing them. they can hardly be used while in movement. and the explosion range and dmg are meh ...

the only cool thing is, that you can set off explosions with them - but companions can do this far better.

Neither are really that good but if you have to choose one, I'd go with Sticky Grenade just because you already have access to it. Whatever benefits Inferno Grenades have over Sticky (which I can't picture being very many) are simply not worth using up the bonus power slot that could to something far greater.
