I had a full party when I killed Silke, so I told Garrick to bug off.  Now that the fight with the Flaming Fist merc south of Beregost has run off half my party because they hate me so much, I'm looking for him again. but I don't see him in the Burning Wizard or the Red Sheaf, or outside either one.  He didn't permanently vanish, right?  He has to be somewhere.

I fear he dissappears forever if you refuse his initial offer to join. If you let him join and then immediately remove him from the party, he would stay there forever.

Fail. :\\ Oh well, I pushed my reputation too low and now guards murder my party all the time anyway. Game over.

If you have enough gold, you can do donations to a temple to raise your reputation so the bounty hunters leave you alone. But if broke yeah it would probably be game over.
