But I don't think you can one shot a phantom on gold with huntress HM. Against asari melee, phantoms should have 3075/1.5+1687.5=3737.5 health. Max huntress HM damage would be:
500*(1+1.2+.5+.95+.75+.3+.15)*1.5=3637.5 damage. You'll leave her with a whopping 100 health left...

Hitting her with dark channel the moment before you use HM would take care of that last bit of HP.

I don't want the kroguard buffed in any way.
Which presents a problem, as the rage tree could possibly be shared for all 4 krogan: the shaman, sentinel and soldier need something, the kroguard doesn't.
Most of my preferred solutions require patching.... like having rage an activated ability instead of a passive....
And removing the penalty krogan receive for damage to armour etc....
I could have sworn the Sentinel/Soldier have the same Rage tree whereas the Shaman/Vanguard share the same tree, but they all don't have the same one. The Shaman/Vanguard have higher health, doesn't that automatically show that they're different and that BioWare can buff the Sentinel/Soldier specifically?

krogan total damage using his light melee with evo4 75% bonus melee how many troops he can kill safaly in rage
and then tell us how many the asari can do having to wait for cooldow and if i recall well she looses barriers when she melees right ? which wont regen under cloak..

The only advantage the asari have, is that their HMs are AoE. But with the krogan, you can practically go on a rampage with very little consequence since they get damage reduction on top of their big defenses, and have faster recovery. I dislike doing melee with the asari cuz it's basically suicide.
But sure, buff the krogan melee. I love buffs.

I worked it out the other way around, instead of dividing by the multiplier I added it to the total, deducted the barrier damage then worked out the health damage.
I might have been wrong though? Maths is not a strong point of mine.

That was my experience playing a fully melee-based Huntress build today - Phantoms have one bar of health left after a heavy melee, which made gameplay, uh, interesting.

Why? The Kroguard cant even take down a gold atlas' armor in one heavy melee cast without the use of gears or hunter mode.

Its an observation of how ridiculous this game is, when I'm forced to grenade spam as a krogan to feel like I'm powerful enough (Which I refuse to do).
If the idea that a 1000kg krogan smashing into you causes less damage than a little pulse of biotic energy, is ok with you then I guess, carry on, about your business.
Some of us would like to see our krogan excel at something that isn't spamming grenades.

Tragically enough, this is true. The Huntress' heavy melee does more damage than a BE. More precisely, it does more damage than a BE with detonation evos.
