1. How does adding more electricty to electriacity not enhance it.
2-3. It is on topic. This is how the emp is made

4. Husk are held to gether by nano machines and tech.

EM fields are not electricity. One can lead to another and vice versa, but not simply because "It's there". You need to actively change it using magnetic coils and what have you. If that was the case, we would have wireless power no problem.

2-3. No, because ME fields were never the problem.

5. No. They are organic bodies with tech bits added in. Still solid. Plus, Low EMS shows soldiers ALSO being turned to ash from this "EMP". Which is bull.

The red wave is not an emp.

1.
http://en.wikipedia....omagnetic_pulse
An electromagnetic pulse[/b] (commonly abbreviated EMP[/b]) is a burst of electromagnetic radiation. The abrupt pulse of electromagnetic radiation usually results from certain types of high energy explosions, especially a nuclear explosion, or from a suddenly fluctuating magnetic field. The resulting rapidly-changing electric fields and magnetic fields may couple with electrical/electronic systems to produce damaging current and voltage surges.

http://en.wikipedia....netic_radiation
Electromagnetic radiation[/b] (EM radiation[/b] or EMR[/b]) is a form of energy emitted and absorbed by charged particles, which exhibits wave-like behavior as it travels through space. EMR has both electric and magnetic field components, which stand in a fixed ratio of intensity to each other, and which oscillate in phase perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the direction of energy and wave propagation. In a vacuum, electromagnetic radiation propagates at a characteristic speed, the speed of light.

So in short...You can't have an emp with out electricity. Of course electricty would enhance it.

2-3. Mass effect feild is what the crucible generates. Of course it's the cause.

4. They are only solid as long as the machinery is working. Once it done it falls apart. This is in the lore.

"Oh crap. We lost every scrap of technology because of this GIANT EMP. Does anyone remember how to build anything? No? Where's all the scientists? Oh, they're stuck in space... somewhere we can't get too. Fantastic!"

So some how the enginners on the ships that make sure the ship runs don't know how to fix said ships?

They're all dead by your (terrible) logic.

Fix with what? Every electrical component would be FRIED. Even the spares. Now they are deader than a door nail.

As the catalyst said, it would be easily repeir. Everything would be fred only in low ems.

Why would they be dead in high ems? Nothing I stated even links to that.

1. But you need a generator of some kind. Doesn't happen on it's own.

4. This is not the lore. This is what you made up. It also doesn't explain how HUMANS turn to ash on low EMS.

How? It's an EMP. It doesn't discriminate, but it does, but it's not suppose to. Every component on a ship would be fried since it can kill Reapers. No components, no lifesupport. No lifesupport, no crew.

No lifesupport, no crew. Not hard to work that out. Sure, they might have a bit. At most an hour. Then death.

believe what you'd like. Every entry in the sci fi genre proposes something within its narrative thatis never delved into within its own lore. To say otherwise is ignorant. We've known since day one that it may be a possibility within the ME universe, based on the fact that the idea was even mentioned.

Yes, hyperspace is a good example, or mass relays for that matter, and yet we know more about hyperspace and mass relays than we do about the Crucible. Some of these things we go along with because they're necessary to tell the story. For instance, science fiction authors often refer to hyperspace to bypass relativistic issues that would make it impossible for the story to unfold. Even so, many, if not every, universe takes the time to explain what their own version of hyperspace is and how their own version of a hyperdrive works, even if it's in layman's terms. It adds depth to the universe, it makes us believe it's real.

The Crucible, on the other hand, does not enjoy the same privileges as hyperspace or mass relays. Whereas the latter are required as background upon which to build the story, the Crucible in ME3 is needed to provide a solution to the Reaper problem and thus conclude the story. As such, it needs to be able to endure a harsher analysis, especially when it comes out of the blue since then the audience will be doubly skeptical.

It actually comes down to a simple question, "Did the writers simply make up the Crucible to extricate themselves from the conundrum the Reapers posed, or was it always part of the Mass Effect universe?" To my mind, a good story, a good writer, gives you enough information to make you believe the latter even if the former is the truth. The problem is that ME3 doesn't even try.

Not hard to work that out.

It IS Dreman after all, he is a bit slow.

1.Catalist: The crucible is nothing more than a power source...
Added, it also using the combined power of the most powerful mass effect feild genorators, the mass realys.

2. Nope, read ME:retribution and any codex on the husk troops....
Even the keepers are stated to fall apart when they are studied. Also, in low ems, the crucible has no way to regulate it self due to damage. The electric pulse is too powerful in low ems.

No lifesupport does not mean no air. They can quickly fix that.  They would get everything work well before any danger of death.

I guessyournot getting that that not a problem being that it can easily be repair.

Just to remind you...

That means they enginners would fix the ship well before the danger of death pops up.

1. But the electricty off the Reapers does not enhance the EM effect.

2. Still does not explain how humans, regular humans, are turned to ash if it was just an EMP.

Well yeah, it means no air filtration though. And again, how do you fix it when every computer component is FRIED.

Answer: You go get some that weren't in the range.
Problem: The effect was galaxy wide.
Solution: None.

For the last time: THE GETH WERE NOT AUGMENTED WITH REAPER TECH. They used Reaper code, WHICH IS SOFTWARE. Software is applicable to any numerical code used to generate the software. The advanced numerical values in the obvious hyper advanced minds of the Reapers allowed individual Geth to be sentient. It is not hardware like in the case of EDI, where it is explicitly stated she was constructed with some remnants of Sovereign.

You do understand the the writes use the consept of Mass effect feilds to come up with how it works. How many times does it have to be said that the crucible genorates a massive amount of dark energy?

The issue is not that the computers are fried. They only becaome fried in low ems. Not mid to high.

No, they are not still alive. They ar basicly computers with no operating systems. Not one reaper blew up in mid to high ems. Where did you get that there systems are fried?

Yep. I'm not quite clear what this s supposed to prove, but yes, the geth did not have Reaper hardware installed.

That's not how EMP works. Plus EMP can't "read" code. So, if we went with that, then every program in the galaxy got erased, and now everyone is again screwed as thier ships explode, crash, fail to function after every computer fails.

Edit: Forgot the not.

He can say that all he wants, doesn't save the people on space ships from dying horribly because they can't get fresh air.
