I decided to start playing Dragon Age Origins again, this time on the PC. I rebought the game, but before playing it on steam, EA came out with the awesome promo of getting all of those nie items for free http://social.biowar...da2/dlc_bundle/
I unclocked my the for the PC. made an account here... but now my profile will not link to my account!
I figured it was because I used a different email then what I use for my steam account, so I made another account, re registered the game... and after 10 hours I am still unable to connect the DLC content from the promo to the website, not I am able to to look at my profile on the website either.
I attempted to get help through the EA help services and Bioware contact but aparently it is broken, it decided to loop my in circles for 15 minutes, and it also liked to crash over and over again.
If anyone can help me get my player profile updated and allow me to be able to access the promo items from the dlc bundle please let me know.
PS: I tried downloading the items and manually installing them however it does not give me more info in the Registered content menu. I Also tried fixing my daupdater but manually starting it through reedit. Did not help.
PSS: mnjimann is the account I am using atm for Dragon Age: Ultimate edition.
Player Profile Can Not be found, Promo items not working: I need help.

EA online service is a piece of ****, and doesn't handle a lot of routers well. Try bypassing your router and see if it workers, as well as giving exceptions to it in windows firewall and any others you have running.
Once you download the DLC etc and log in, you should be able to still play behind the router/other security (assuming that bypassing the router works), just with an annoying popup every few minutes saying "could not connect to dragon age servers" that appears even when you uncheck all online options.

Thank you very much for your help. The issue is currently being fixed as we speak. If I could give you some kind of internet points right now I would.
Edit: Seems to have downloaded a fair bit of stuff, but then is still stuck at 0% downloading. Huh.
