Isn't Homing Grenades a tech power? If so they Sabotage -> Homing Grenade would deal a lot of damage.

Honestly, if they fix the AI problems with the turret and bring it more in line with the reliable damage the drone causes, and fix the Sabotage issues, I will have literally zero problems with this class.

I haven't had much trouble hitting things with the homing grenade. Yeah, if your entire team is unloading on the target with reegers and harriers it's going to be a waste of time, but that's not always going to be the case, especially in pugs where half your teammates are lone wolfing it and the other half are using level 3 vipers. Even with good teammates it's going to be a help against the big bosses like possessed praetorians (assuming your teammates haven't triggered its barrier.) Or, rather than focus firing on the same banshee that everybody else is shooting, use it to take down the brute or ravager standing behind it - it's great for softening up mid level bosses like brutes, ravagers, and psions. The guy also has jetpacks and decent shield strength, so there's no reason you can't try to get a little closer to your target.

It helps to get the timing down - watch how fast the boss's shields are dropping, and try to launch it so that it hits as they reach zero. You can speed up the process by launching the grenade first, then sabotage while its on its way. I'm also pretty sure homing grenades can't be dodged, so it's a guaranteed kill against a lot of potentially annoying units (like dragoons.) Not so great against phantoms and banshees though, unless you can catch them off guard.

I think he's a great character actually. I love Homing 'Nades, Sentry Turret, and Turians, so seeing all three on one character is awesome! The only gripe I have with him is that the cooldown on Sabotage is waaay too long. A reduction would be much appreciated, since three characters now have the power instead of one...

Actually, since they changed the way tech-bursts work I've done this from time to time.  WIth the Turian's inherent stability bonuses, a good weapon like the Harrier or the Phaeston allows you to easily set up tech combos like nobodies' business.  Plus, Marksman isn't (IMO) a terribly useful power on a race that gets as much stability as the turian.

Accuracy, RoF and recoil are not the same thing.

They never miss though, so they have that. Launch one, get into cover, boom. Explosions.

Bonus points if you toss one out, then apply Sabotage before it hits.

The cooldown on Sabotage is the only unfortunate side to the kit. For now, we have to travel light, but come next Tuesday, we'll get to carry better weapons, and we'll be kicking so much ass.

This is the eleventh thread he's made saying how much the class sucks, 10 of which were made before he was even out. Why he couldn't just stick to one thread, I have no idea.

isnt his sabotage cooldown at 8 seconds? doesnt seem to bad imo if your cooldown is around 100%+.  Gave him a whirl yesterday with a team of flamers. Didnt top the scoreboard, but the two guys with the flamers really went to town on the reapers with the bonus from tech vul.

I think he's a pretty solid character. sabotage followed by homing grenades do a solid amount of damage without needing to expose yourself to fire.

Tohoho you had me going there for a second.

(homing grenade counts as a tech power for combos. Also, sabotage primes and homing grenade detonates a tech burst. Also, homing grenade isn't on a cooldown. It's almost as if you're supposed to use those two powers in sync or something.)

14 seconds, which can get down to 4.31 seconds with 200% cooldown and evo 5b. And I know about the Flamer deal: BEST. KILLING. EVER. Platinum, me and a Geth Soldier encounter a Husk. I Sabotage it, he quickly taps the Flamer on and off. Husk dropped instantly. Yeah, it's a Husk, but even they can at least take a shot or so before going down.

Honestly, this is true. And on a laggy game, it feels even worse. I'm pretty sure they can buff travel time in a weekly balance change since they have with Sub. Net already.

This might be true, but I find it hard to believe Sentry Turret is balanced for Silver.  That was an agonizing challenge to complete.

I'll give him a try once they buff Sabotage. Sabotage Tech vulnerability + Turret Flamer sounds like a decent boss killer.

I always wanted turian engineer (like Lilihierax) with overload, sabotage and some turian new combat drone
but this.... :-/ best of the turians for me is still probably turian sentinel
