Morrigan....all the way....her child will become the next Archdemon.

But just to prove I can express how dumb it is... look at the topic title
NEW Companion speculation, not old, other than the obvious fact Morrigan headed west not North/North East from Denerim it is highly unlikely she will be in the expansion, mentioned... possibly, in it... unlikely
@sethroskull it's also very fun to have Alistair executed, kill leliana, zevran, shale and wynne, tell oghren to get lost, but one of them is possibly in it, so each to their own eh? This is a speculation topic is it not?

Just this! Please, stop creating human companions! There are too many! We want elfs and dwarfs, female elfs and dwarfs!!
Somehow I doubt with 5 choices + OC companion they are going to make it totally a human group
Hence why my suggestion was 2 of each race

Humans are supposed to be the most common Wardens though, that's why NPCs remark about your character being the only dwarf/elf in a long time. It shouldn't matter what race they are anyway, as long as they are an interesting character. Just because we haven't seen a female elf yet doesn't mean there has to be one in the expansion's 5. Though a true Dalish party member would be nice... especially if it's from the Dalish origin's clan and finally gives him/her a better tie-in with the main story.
If the trailer is any indication we're going to see a male human mage with the ponytail (he's even going through with the joining), that rugged guy who looks to be a dual-wield rogue, and either that knight wearing Juggernaught is a new companion or an old one they're hiding from us...

What I want to see is Shale back in her dwarfen body. After all she does look for a way to return back to normal in some endings...
That is also a possibility. They invested a whole DLC to Shale, why not keep running with it. It's gonna be good either way.

Qunari don't count now?
Apparently not. We need more Qunari. Hot Qunari males with pokers and pikes.

Maybe they could add a Qunari Mage? I'd love to see that one.

I agree. There are endless possibilities with this, as well as the chance for some of us more OCD forum posters to squash those who keep referring to Shale as male.
A potential Shale romance would be even more fun.
