Grunt. Vega is basically Grunt except human and much more dull. Legion a close second. Those two were my favorite ME2 squadmates. Just defeated final boss on Insanity with them, and they never died once thanks to Fortification/Shield Boost spam.

Jack. I was massively POd when I discovered she could not join my squad, and my manshep who spent all that time in ME2 trying to get her over her troubled youth, as it were, had to sleep alone at night....
