The Phaeston is my favorite weapon with the Turian Sentinel. Rapid fire, decent ammo, decent damage, good grouping, light enough to not hamper your carrying capacity too badly...

pretty much everything works well on him, my personal preference is geth pulse rifle with incendiary ammo.
mook - overload destroys shields, and stuns 3 guys. incendiary ammo spray 3 guys and panics them, stunning them again. overload again for 3 FE and another stun if necessary.
bosses - warp, incendiary ammo (cripples them) and finish of with an overload causing a FE

even without ammo powers, the gpr stuns mooks with constant fire.

The Piranha is a good choice. The Valkyrie's also quite 'ffective.

I would say if you have a hurricane, use that and the saber. For the hurricane put ULM and the HVB barrel on, for the saber go the traditional route of barrel + ap. It got a buff recently so you can put it to good use.

 A sniper build with the Mantis X is really effective and fun.  With both overload and warp, you have the versatility to melt through any foe.  With that build, I only put one point into tech armor.  The power cool down is enough to recharge often enough to be ready between shots.  

I am excited to promote and rebuild my TS to try the assault rifles suggested here, such as the Phaeston.
