The first time i played DA2 i enjoyed the game, but I was at the same time disappointed. The story seemed a bit messy and dull, the characters were whiny and one dimensional and the combat and reused enviorments annoyed me agreat deal. But now  I am doing a second playtrough , and it has really grown on me. DA2 is actually a great game! The story is great. Almost every main quest (and a lot of the secondary quests) have a connection and boil up to the final outcome in act 3. At the same time. There is also a more personal story, and the relations with the party members are very interesting. The combat system is really not that bad, the newest patch means  a minimal number of enemies exploding. The reused caves doesn´t really annoy med either, because the story is so interesting. It is still not as epic as origins, but it is a great game and a good sequel in my opinion. With some more development time I think DA2 could have been a masterpiece,but regarding what time Bioware had,  it is great! You also have to give them credit for trying something new and different. I can`t wait for DA3 and hope it will be a mix between the two first games.
