I don't know if this thread would fit into the IT thread or not.


Here it goes:

During Arrival, Shepard, due to the drugs that the people put him under and Reaper Device, is having a nightmare of Mass Effect 3 and Harbringer basicly telling within the Nightmare, For Shepard to give up. Like dreams, ME3 has some issues. So the Entire ME3 game is within Shepard's head.


If ME3 was a fever dream, it does explain some of the plotholes in the entire game. regardless involved by Harbringer.

Sorry, but if you want that to be your head-canon then okay. Sadly, you could also make the claim that Shepard died in the beginning of Mass Effect 2 and the rest of the game and ME3 is his personal hell.

Or... He's in a coma after touching the device on Eden Prime during the start of the first game and everything afterwards is Shepard dreaming while in a coma, having never woken.

You can pretty much say at any time Shepard blacksout/drugged/dies/whatever.
That's one of the reasons I dislike the IT Theory so much.

Well It would be worse. IT Theory tries within canon explain The Mess of ME3. My Fever Dream Theory is basicly Shepard's fears and hopes in dream form possiblity fighting indoctrination.

I do admit that I am butthurt overall. Ranging from Derping of all of Major characters including Shepard, T.I.M., Admiral Hackett, Liara and other characters.


And The Starbrat, he needs a good nuking. And building the super weapon that killed the Dead Reaper in ME2 would be preferred.

Yeah basically this and OP's head cannons then make the series a LOST if BW were to do that and that's not cool that sereies invalidated 9 years not to mention the customer support of a show by saying it was the Doctor's death dream sorry that all sucks.

Well If my Fever Dream Theory pans out, it just invalidates ME3 bad writing.
