I hope so atleast, she's not only my favorite party character but also my main character's romance, so here's hoping.

Personally, I think they should save Morrigan for a sequel, not an expansion.

That poll opened before the game released, I think the results would be more evenly spread now.

Exactly.

If Morrigan is in an expansion/sequel, I'd really want the opportunity to throw her off a cliff. What an annoying, spoiled brat.
Spoiled? wouldnt say that by any means, her mommy took away her mirror and smashed it! id say shes far from spoiled. but she is a ****, i can agree to that
its why i like her

As for Morrigan, not even remotely close to being a strong npc character, no doubt she was loved by early teen kiddies.

That's the Architect, from one of the novels (The Calling).Strawberrycocoa wrote...
I wonder if the talking darkspawn in the trailer IS Morrigan's son?
Morrigan quite likely won't appear, but some mention of her is feasible..
But BioWare has definitely set up the possibility that Morrigan's child is the PC for the sequel, I'll give them that.

I spotted Oghren in the trailer, I'm guessing its him.
you spotted Oghren? Or the back of a red headed dwarf who happend to resemble Oghrens back in the 0.5 seconds it flashed on the screen?

At this point, it's safe to say it's Oghren. Oghren is one of two characters with a unique haircut, and it's fairly recognizable. Also, he can be seen earlier in the trailer as part of a 4-man group with the red glow that berserk causes. Seems pretty cut & dry. Also, the mage with the ponytail is guarenteed to be a party member, as he is seen in the same aforementioned party as well as seen performing the Joining later on.

Apparently there is only one returning companion, & I have a feeling it might be Allister
He will be returning, but only as a plot NPC (assuming you didn't off him, I suppose).
