Kaidan is also good if your Shepard is into the nice guy who's been their all along.
Liara is fine, just has to work with your particular playthrough. If you wish to play a lesbian Shepard, I'd lean more towards Samantha. Headcanon out the shower scene, and its quite good, though sadly limited to one game.

This. Also something my Shep choose to or ended up doing.IsaacShep wrote...
Alternative - do a Forever Alone Shep run.

I never romanced Garrus as femshep, he's just... well, he's a bro. Romancing him sort of feels wrong. Having a platonic friendship feels right, romance not so much.
I very much advice against Jacob, but he was not on your list anyway. Both Kaidan and Liara are fine.
And yet it even starts here........ The hate Jacob wave.

I prefer Liara...the chemistry between Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis is fantastic, and I think she has the most complete romance arc and probably the best overall (with LotSB).

More like a "the Jacob romance in ME2 was very nice, but the writers completely forgot about it in ME3" warning.
I'll probably have a few "forever alone" FemSheps, though I can at least imagine a Colonist FemShep going back to her old homestead, finding someone and starting a family there... and raiders/slavers never try to hit Mindoir until a decade or so after she dies of old age.

I'm gonna have to through in my vote for this as well. For me the two most natural feeling romances for femshep are Liara and Garrus, with Liara being the best. As people have said, Jen Hale and Ali Hillis just have this fantastic chemistry that I don't see anywhere else.
And I understand OP it feels weird to have two women talk about having kids, but I would suggest just trying to go with it. The rest of romance is really sweet and loving and the two honestly sound in love. The EC goodbye between the two is heart-breakingly beautiful. When Shep's voice cracks saying goodbye, I got seriously choked up.
Its definitely worth pursuing for those beautiful moments.

His ME2 romance really shows a vulernable, pained side of him. It broke my heart.
In 3 he's really sweet and caring.

If you like weird...sex that doesn't really work together, go with Garrus.
If you're normal, then go with Kaiden.
If you have a life, then go with nothing.

Seems more naturally paced.
Not saying that Kaiden's and Liara's romances are "bad" in anyway. I just believe that Garrus' is a step better, for all the reasons everyone else had said throughout the thread.

Don't go with Liara unless you are prepared for hours of bad voice acting and cringeworthy scenes.

Well, I didn't like it too much in ME2, it was OK. But you're right, the reason I don't like it is the way the romance was treated in ME3Sinapus wrote...

Imo Garrus is the best followed by Kaidan.

I'd agree with this. It was my preferred LI combo in the series.
