I just don't want them to waste time on something only a minority of players want. I want new stuff.

minority of players? Are you coming with the silent-but-we-know-they-are-happy majority argument again?

Havent seen posting anything positiv about Priority:Earth for a long time now.

bioware, please revamp this grindfest asap.

Ah yes, the "silent majority" who took the chance to prove that the supporters are more numerous than the haters.

We have dismissed that claim.

I would not know but the timestamp of the confirmation E-mail of the original password change is literally minutes after my post's timestamp

OK...so....since I always sound as a broken record (but this really pisses me off) how exactly is it FAIR that Control and Synthesis get full closure INCLUDING A GOD SPEECH FROM SHEPARD in control......and Destroy just gets IMPLICATIONS?

It's prolly cuz they didn't want to define your ending too much for you. Interpretation! Subjectivity! Did you die calling out your LI's name or rise from the rubble triumphant? Anything is possible when you replace 2.9 games' worth of straightforward storytelling with a house of mirrors filled with mood mist and ten watt strobe lights!

What was that! A shadow moving in the mirror? Was it a madman with an axe or a candygram greeter with chocolates? You decide!

Indeed.
People are literally telling the writer's of Mass Effect that it is okay to NOT tell you the story, that you will fill in the blanks that are missing to force it to make sence, and they call them geniuses for it. Sad...

Partially, yeah.  I'm an advocate for some hefty interpretation in a situation like this ...

...and they call them geniuses for it.

... but no, not geniuses. That's creating a false binary atmosphere about impressions on the ending.

the point remains. They are apparently still not understanding/getting it. The real question is if they did not get something THIS glaring....what next?

Doomsday, of course.

I'm far more concerned with the logic behind Synthesis' physical application (not the choice itself) than I am with connecting-the-dots to interpret that Shepard survives.

To each their own issues...but the question is the same..."how did no one question this?" were "this" in your case is green space magic in an otherwise semi hard Sci FI setting

Only 2 possible scenarios exist:

1) no one questioned it, because no one at BW has even a basic high school level of understanding about science.

2)he's lying and knows no one would risk their job callin him on it.

They knew damn well the ending sucked. No one could play it and not know it. I do agree they underestimated the "crapstorm" it would cause and probably figured they would get away with it and get all those sweet game of the year awards. The reviewers sure went along with it but suddenly all hell broke loose. They didnt have the time or the will or the imagination to do better and didnt consider all the emotional investment ppl had put into their characters and universe and when they finally saw the dimension of their mistake it was too late.

assuming you are right...then why keep up the lies? Why not rectify it properly as opposed with the EC (especially when it comes to tue destroy ending? Hell at this point the IT would have even allowed them to save face but they just kept going...did they not see it ...AGAIN?

Here is a better question.

Does the DLC in Mass Effect 3 matter at all because its the ending of the trilogy? If the answer is no, why are people buying it then?
