So I've beaten the game, now I log back into the game after the credits run and I'm only able to travel to 3 places.  Camp, Warden Keep and the village you get Shale.  

Am I missing something, I know when I log in it says everything I do from this point on is pre the killing of the archedemon. I still had open quests in different places I can't seem to go back and finish them so do I have to go back to a previously saved game and finish them to do them?

Yes. The post-game save is reserved for DLC only.
