They should make the Inquisitor dance like Shepard.

I would love a ball. Especially one with masks. And a political mission would be great.

I hope that the Inquisitor dances the exact opposite like Shepard. In fact there should be some people telling them just how awesome they are at dancing. Bonus points if they're voiced by Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale.

Also so I can write this:

Inquisitor: I'm a hero!
Shepard: No, I'm a hero!
Inquisitor: I have the command of my own army!
Shepard: I'm a one-man war machine!
Inquisitor: I can dance, too!
Shepard: .....@M@

Just remember, you're only allowed a single AC/DC joke per game. Use it wisely.

I'm ever upper class high society
God's gift to ballroom notoriety
And I always fill my ballroom
The event is never small
the social papers say
I've got the biggest balls of all

This is an amazing idea:). Ball, fancy dress, little bit of spying... I'd love to see it in the game:).

I WANT this... A lot.
With fancy dresses and hairstyles and masks and dancing with my LI (or random party member for lols (Male!Kossith dancing with an uncomfortable Varric ftw!))!

And I also want the option to stomp around in full armor glaring at everyone and wishing(/waiting) for some demons/bandits/crazy templars/assassins to show up like someone mentioned.

Yeah, I also hope that this happens. I also tend to enjoy these novelty style missions, like in MotA, Kasumi's loyalty mission in ME2, and the casino mission in the Citadel DLC in ME3. I like seeing our characters out of their adventuring garb and I also really like the replayability factor by having different companions respond differently because of their personalities.

I think based on what we know about Vivienne, she would be a great companion to bring. She would either relish in it (based on her ostentatious Orlesian robes and masks) or look down on the frivolity of it (based on her snooty, Madame le Fer, attitude). I'd love to see which one it ends up being!

I'd love a masquerade ball, if it included some sort of locate and capture enemy quest. To locate them you would have to dance and gradually change partners and finally entice them to join you in an empty room....Inquisitor Time!
And of course I must wear the most frumpy, puffy and magnificent dress, including a huge headpiece adorned with singing birds and only the most beautiful jewels that match my eyes.

Taleroth forgot to link the song.

I enjoyed Donovan Hock's party in Kasumi: Stealing Memory. I especially liked that an asari was gossiping in the voice of Bastila Shan. If I could have Shepard danced in the middle of everyone, that would have been great.

Hilarious.

I'd welcome any shoutout towards Shep's dancing.

9 hours later...

Shepard: *watches vid of Johnny Gat dancing to feel better.*

Something like this is best through a dlc I reckon.
It could be DA's equivalent to ME's Citadel dlc. Of course though, it should be far more relevant to the overall plot and doesn't feel misplaced.

A masquerade (spelling?) ball would be really cool. A hiding in plain sight kind of mission, where we have an objective to complete and at the same time avoid being discovered.

The only problem I see with this is if the player is a qunari, especially a male, since no matter what kind of mask you're using to hide your face you'd kind of stand out...

I would love to do some undercover infiltration mission during a ball or an assasination, it would be really cool to do that.

That would be such a fun mission. They should also have it rely on your race choice, for example a human will attend as a guest while an elf will attend as a servant, etc.

Have a Qunari Inquisitor pose as a bodyguard and a Dwarf as a merchant? XD

+1 support for a ball. I just kind of hope they have options for attire as opposed to a more 'one size fits all' look.

Basically. It would also be fun to get the companions involved, thus having it be like an Ocean's Eleven type thing.

How about a large scale coordinated dance number á la Phantom of the Opera or that Prince Charming music video. There could also be an obligatory comedy moment when a Lady Inquisitor or a companion of the appropriate gender smuggles someone out of a palace during a ball by hiding that person in their huge dress.

And no matter how impractical, uncomfortable or unrealistic it would be, I would still like the option for Lady mages to wear the dresses on the battlefield (this is Orlais, style comes before everything else anyway)
