It's not becuase she's strong, but because of what it's stated in her character kit.

Well she turns her back on them but it doesn't mean she won't know how to handle them. Frankly it seems like a rather obvious comedic gold mine, especially if both Cassandra and Vivienne were involved.

I don't think we should look to Cassandra for comic relief anymore than we did Morrigan 

Granted that scene in Fort Drakon with Morrigan and Lelianna disguised as Chantry sisters was hilarious, and I suppose something similar could be done with Cassandra at an orlesian ball.

We do have the Iron Lady of Orlais herself, Vivienne.

I think attending an Orlesian Ball would be positively delightful.  Imagine walking in all dudded up while wearing a mask, with your companion of choice on your arm.  Then things get hairy and a fight breaks out.  I can see the achievement for completing that quest now...

I Imagine them stepping on her dancing partner's toes(provided that there's someone brave enough to ask them to dance) and blaming them for being too clumsy...On second thought I'd love to see Cassandra at an Orlesian ball!

maybe thats PC's first encounter with Cassandra
She will just stand there making divine's bodyguard in civil clothes or something lighter than metal plates
and inquisitor will ask her for dance and divine will aprove it
And then templar/mage heretic(depends on your previous decisions) will appear and kill divine and Cassandra will promise to kill him/her for what he/she has done.

Let's say the ball is happening midway through the game. We've already spent a great deal of time with companion Cassandra, who strikes us as a battle-hardened warrior type. But then she attends the ball, and we get to see a soft, noble side to her. That would be very interesting and, possibly, great for character development and such.

I would love if by doing that, the player gets a Game Over screen since they alienated the people so much that they will not support the Inquisition, dooming it to fail.

I had mask mahawahwa no one can recognize me pretty much like in dishonored there is ball too you can kill everyone if you take that route instead your real presence he will be searched for crimes

Not only Cassandra. An Orlesian ball could be something like the Casino infiltration mission in ME3 Citadel, where you could bring a companion with you (in formal dresses, no less) and have them distract the enemies with funny dialogues
