I'm quite tired of it all (this is the opposite of a hate topic)

we once made a special night where the cover was 1 EUR just to see how low people will go - guess what...
this behaviour unfortunately transports everywhere in society. i've seen it many times. just try the buffet in a hotel resort - same thing. people are crap there's too many of them and they are overfed and overstuffed with things they don't need.
it's really sad, but fortunately there's always a few of us who seem to be allright with others so let's not whine about the whiners.

I'm also sure there are aspects about the gameplay that annoyed people and they come here (the place that is set aside by the Bioware staff to talk about the game) to voice there dislike. There are people that take things way too far(bioware ruined RPGs and kittens forever!!) but as a professional you learn to ignore that sort of behavior because you realize it doesnt help anything by responding to it.

I love the game, I am here and I don't feel any urge to whine about it......Apophis2412 wrote...

I'm just astounded that for a game rated 18+ Mature at how many children appear to be posting. The Forum moderators are doing a cracking job of managing the Bioware forums in the face of hundreds of possibly the most immature 'grown adults' the world has known.

All we need is a Complaints forum so the rest of us don't have to see it.
I love the idea! They really should have a different forum for suggestions (read whinning/bashing/hate + critics either constructive or not).
And it should require game registration to post there. And people posting on those subjects out of that forum should get a warning, specially if their game is not registered. Enough of people with T copies whinning or demanding adjustments so they can enjoy the game more. Yeah, cracked 1.02 is already out there!

Don't blame that on us! It was not we who announced something and delayed twice, one in the eve of the scheduled release! I agree that should there be no insults there but the fun posts we had there were just that... funny!

Dude you shouldn't complain about something you clearly don't understand or you seem not to try and understand. All the we see is the pretty (or ugly) end of it. As some people have already stated about finding bugs (Stanley woo I think) a game is just a lot of work, and bugs are not the only probleme about creating a game. For exemple there's this really cool mod for Oblivion called Nehrim I cannot wait for it, its date has not been delayed in days or months but for 3 years. Damn when I hear that I am happy. At least I know it will be good. Why must so many people complain? just say you're sad, you're frustrated. Complain? Really is that how you guys hope solve this? Just take a look at yourselves for a bit. Guess people will never change (but then they'll listen to songs of peace and love and somehow totally agree with it or read a book and see themselves as cool understanding character... *sight*)

Erm, most people were sad and frustrated? One of the main complaints though was the lack of information given as to why it had been delayed, other than just the fact it was delayed. Normally it would be good business to give some slight indication as to what the cause of the delay was, no? It's good customer service to do so.Lazylog wrote...

Apologise wholeheartedly for the 'spam' as you put it. For those that complained they couldnt find out 'real info', up until page 180 therem was 1 dev post and 2 mod posts, both of which are easy to find by clicking the Bioware button yes?
I do agree with you though, all the hate and slander and RAWR is getting tiresome, partly the reason the thread got out of hand, but in saying that, had it not, that would have been one very hate filled thread, I feel we went some way to calm and ease peoples tensions, until we heard froma dev regarding the issue.
Yes we have been told off, and we do now have someplace to talk our 'rubbish' hehe

whoa whoa lets not get ahead of ourselves, we're talking about a game right? Not a politcal party that is in power. They *choose* to have expantions because they want it so, not because it's the law. So if they want to delay it one thousand times it's up to them.

So I just thank Bioware for being awesome, keep my complaiing to a group where they don't have to listen to us whine, lol, and ignore the trolls

I, for one, had some laughs for sure, particularly at the anteaters. So it didn't bother me any, but now that the topic is closed, I wonder where the angry people will go? Will they make more topics, or interrupt other topics with round-about rants? You can't stop people from complaining on the internets, so sometimes it's nice to see them all collected and magnetized to one location, united in a clear and common purpose, their complaints drowning each others' out in one giant heap easily ignored.
But I never knew anteaters could be cute, so I feel plenty satisfied by the whole experience.

Yes an in-depth explanation would be good. It may calm our senses, but that's about it. Do we have the power to help them fix this problem? No, albeit there might be some folks with knowledge enough to help them out, those people don't work for them and any help would still need to be gone over by an actual employee. That's an extra step that is not neccesary. We do not automatically get entitlement to sticking our noses where they don't belong, we're not on their payroll.
If you think you're upset, how about the higher-ups? You think they're just as calm and collected as ever that the expected revenue is not happening yet? Think again, I bet some asses were chewed until they looked more like hamburger and perhaps people were fired even.
In any business, production is the key...getting something to sell out as fast as possible is the goal. When things slow down, they must find out why and generally it's whittled down to an employee or two. Said employees get their asses chewed and probably have the boss sitting over their shoulder to see why it is they have so much trouble going faster. I dunno about you but that makes me nervous as hell, having someone critiqueing your every move and it tends to distract me from the actual work itself.
That being said, they are doing what they can, regardless of the tantrums and tirades. All you're doing is creating cross-fire. They get sh** from their bosses and they also get sh** from you. This probably causes a lot of un-needed stress. Get off their backs and let em work, seriously...
I feel better now, just be patient...not gunna be the end of the world because you can't have your DLC yet.

I do not take the hate filled posts very seriously, and neither should the develpoers, although I do enjoy to read the occasional flame war.
