You're supposed to use Blood Wound on the enemy and not yourself

Specifically with regard to RtO, that kind of announcement is as hard for us to make as it is for you to hear. As game developers, we live for the day when you get to play through our creations. Delaying that day disappoints us too.
That's very true. The main reason I got sick of the threads regarding the delay was because I went there to get information. What I found was hundreds of pages of useless complaints, and I didn't want to have to wade through all that to find posts with actual information regarding the delay from the good folks at BioWare. Thank you for your candor.Victor Wachter wrote...
I'm actually ok with complaints. People post them because they care, which is way better than somebody giving up on our games entirely. Yes, they do occasionally go too far, and the RtO thread was a good example of that (but entirely consistent with what happens when you have to make that kind of announcement).
It's hard for a BioWare rep to reply to something like that with salient info and clarification mainly because of the sheer signal/noise ratio. But as I am getting more familiar with the team and the plans, I am hoping that we can work together to bring us to a more even dull roar.

Amen to that!Allen63 wrote...
I expect a lot from Bioware, and when they don't give it to me I whine (constructive criticism) -- because I think they have the talent to do it right.
Anyhow, if I thought Bioware and Bioware games were average or poor, I would not be posting -- I would never visit the site -- why bother. Thus, complaining is a sort of complement.

I don't remember if you in particular used the "this DLC should be priced at 59.087 cents an hour because the original game cost me X and it took me Y to beat it" but I do remember that most of your rants have been quite valid and are generally the type of feedback that we actually find useful, specially since you clearly know the game very well.Sloth Of Doom wrote...
Wait...I've ranted about the price of DLC before.... *waits for hate mail*

And one can never forget this kind of snappy reply to a post that makes no sense:
Someguy writes: I was playing DA but I got bored because it has so many words and dialogue.
Sloth of Doom Writes: I was playing Modern Warfare but I didn't really enjoy it because of all the shooting.

We really appreciate good feedback and often use the constructive criticisism to improve future products. Its great to read how many of you love the game and it makes my day every time I read a comment from posters like Sloth of Doom (hilarious every time!).
I just wish more people would understand why some things have to happen in certain ways. I it boils my blood every time someone rates the value of a game by the time they spent to complete it once (like people ranting about the price of DLC). That argument basically means that bargain bin games are the best games you can get since they are pretty cheap per hour you can spend on them.

so you're complaining about the complainers of the complainers...brilliant! stfu? you sound like the type of person that buys the game, throws away the disc, and amuses themselves for hours with the cardboard box...

Rating the value of a game by the time spent to complete it is of course nonsense, but when I compare the playtime of BG2 and DA or TOB and Awakening, then I think it should be allowed to say that BG2 and TOB offered more of the same quality.Gabochido wrote...
