The CGI versions of DA characters > in-game versions.

FF13 characters
Snow > DA characters.

Both, respectively, look like good renditions of Morrigan. It's just everyone's so used to seeing her in-game. If Morrigan actually looked like that, I don't think we'd have as much people complaining since there would be no point of comparison xD

I mean, CGI model does suit how she acts and talks. Hahaha.

Exactly.. The face of the game version does not reflect her personality. Of course that's subjective, but what I think of her.

Trailer version is the better one I think, more suitable looks to her personality. Leliana is 100x times better in the trailer as well... the game version I just refer to as fish-lips. Sten looks better in the trailer. And the concept art for them all is better than in-game.

compare with this:

Though Lel looks loads better in the trailer. Trailer Morrigan however is fugly as all hell.

And I want Trailer warden hair!!!

They all look better in the trailer. Morrigan has a slight psycho/menacing edge... i like that. Leliana actually looks badass. Sten looks the worst in game... potatohead.
Never trust a trailer for anything.

Is that a dude or a chick? You never know with these JRPG chars.

Actually it is a chick but she was suppose to be a he...in the game but the final game made him a her...confusing right?

:? I'm...really confused now. She was supposed to be a guy?

Morrigan and Sten look a lot closer to their in-game counterparts than Leliana.

Which really annoys me, because I really like the look of the CGI Leli. In-game, she just looks like another NPC.

At least it has a lot of realism to it.
They should make a Sandal CGI model. NAO.

Dude, obviously, notice the hair on his legs.

p.s.To OP, please spare us these cheesy bad posed pseudo realistic manga derived characters here, thanks. If you want characters like that, buy FF whatever-current-number-is and enjoy the cheesiness in its full glory.

I prefer CGI Morrigan, but she's pretty awesome in general. The silly bastard pictured at left will forever be her loving dark knight.

The "Sacred Ashes" Morrigan is fugly.  No player in his right mind would accept her offer to warm her tent if she looked like that in the game.

Also, about the voice actress comment, Claudia Black is much prettier than that scary abomination in the CGI.

Unless he has a melon inside his bra, it's most probably a girl, but else it would be hard to make the distinction between a girly-boy or an athletic girl Image IPB

That means nothing in a JRPG. Could still be a dude.

Agreed.

People saying that the fugly Morrigan fits her personality better obviously have never had any real interaction with very pretty women.  They can be some of the most evil at the core. (Not universally, but...)

I told people they would be confused...the developers were making this character a he but instead decided towards the end of development to make him a her....therefore it is now a chick and not a dude.

Then I suppose I'm not in my "right mind," because I'd be even more eager to warm the tent of Sacred Ashes Morrigan. Any other subjective viewpoints you'd like to try and assert are verifiable facts?

It's odd though. I don't find CGI Morrigan as ugly as everyone makes her out to be. She's actually quite pretty in her own way. But that's just me, I suppose D:

Don't confuse a few vocal people for "everyone." The majority of this thread is clearly in favor of CGI Morrigan. EJ42 just likes to post as though every generalization he spouts is irrefutable fact.

The majority of players don't post on the forums at all.

Morrigan in the CGI is fugly.  That is an irrefutable fact.  It's is a subjective opinion, which makes it irrefutable.  What makes it a fact is that my opinion is the only one that matters.  Trying to convince me that the CGI version is prettier than the in-game version is just as futile as trying to convince someone who hates chocolate that it is the superior ice cream flavor.

The fact that you think the beast in that image is pretty just tells me there is something broken in your visual cortex.  It's nothing to be ashamed of.  Even ugly people need someone who finds them attractive.

IMO, the best looking version of Morrigan is the one from the cover art.

CGI Morrigan is unattractive to say the least.

Morrigan is suppose to be incredibly beautiful, a seductress, a woman who is so beautiful most men would overlook her dark soul.

I wouldn't want CGI Morrigan in my party let alone my bedroll.
