She's suppose to look like this girl:

That was their original intentions for the character, hence the CGI.

The CGI looks nothing like that girl.

I'm a very good looking guy and babies always stare and smile and wave at me. Babies would cry if that CGI Morrigan was looking at them.

Lol...

Some very misinformed people here.

The CGI Morrigan isnt supposed to look like the real model/bioware game model.

The company used to do the trailer were given total artistic licence. It is 'their' representation, just like you can't get the armour used, or the wardens face....

EJ, I respect you, but you are arguing for the sake of it. You cannot win the argument (not that there is one anyway)...we all have opinions on what she should look like, does look like, and whether or not she is attractive or not.

It is all opinion and subjective.

I think both versions are fine, though the CGI does have more detail.

No.  You're wrong because your opinion differs from mine.  What world do you think you live in?

Ah. I understand the state of things, now. You're a troll, and not even an entertaining one. Good day, then, ser.

The CGI version always reminded me a bit of Fairuza Balk from The Craft, who plays a bit of a crazy witch.

I really prefer the CGI look, not necessarily as more attractive, but I think it gives her character more appeal on the whole.

With her sarcasm and odd powers, is she really crazy, or just crafty and in control?

Heh. While I still prefer the Sacred Ashes morrigan over the in-game one, I'd sooner she looked more-or-less like this (oh who am I kidding...I wish she did look like this, along w/ the attire :P ): www.youtube.com/watch

A lot of SG fans condemned the last 2 seasons, but personally I thought they were fantastic. Claudia Black is such an amazing actress, I love that she's almost a household name now. She deserves the recognition.

I prefer the CGI version over the in-game version, the CGI face seems to exude more of a personality.

Why didn't they actually use the models they hired?

Both the CGI and the in-game version looks nothing like the real model. In fact the in-game version is probably closer.

OT: I dunno, except for a few 'slow' episodes, I liked most of S9 - 10 (I liked most of the entire series, actually).
Then again, I'm pretty new to the SG stuff (wouldn't have watched it if I didn't know that Browder and Black would be in it...finished SG-1 and the 2 SG-1 movies and am currently into S3 of SG:A. McKay rules!)
I do get that feeling that the older fans don't like those seasons, tho' (been frequenting Gateworld, of late, heh)

As for more Claudia Black: www.claudiablackonline.com/
I do agree, tho', her work, from what I've seen, is great. Hopefully she gets more voice-acting nominations in the future (and awards).

In-game Morrigan looks like some aging, sagging, bag of Botox.

CGI Morrigan is actually an interesting and unique looking character. Like someone with personality, instead of generic woman #9. They did a great job.

well yeah CGI morrigan does look a little bit diffrent to ingame morrigan but the real shocker is Leliana, in the tralier her hairs that cool red colour but in game is more gingerish lol and her voice has changed. but it doesnt really matter because no matter how many times i play the game through and say right this time im gonna go sleep with leliana . . . the first time im at camp i always seem to end up in Morrigans tent, i think she must cast a seducion spell on me when i'm not looking ^^

I love SG:A, and SG:U isn't too bad either. Been a fan of SG since the original movie, my mom watched it and the first few seasons of SG:1 with me.

I was so pissed that Spike gave Megan Fox the best female award. Really? Megan Fox couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. Claudia Black should have won for Uncharted 2.

I don't really see how people can call her "ugly". These pictures actually make her look quite attractive, despite seeing little of her. And considering she was supposed to be in her late twenties (IIRC I remember seeing a dev answering a question) they seem quite accurate.
I prefer all of the CGI models to their in-game counterparts. I felt the CGI models captured the characters much more, and most of the people who don't like the CGI Morrigan don't like her because she's apparently "ugly", which I don't agree with in the slightest.

PS. I agree with the need for trailer warden hair, and also to have Morrigan's outfit from the trailer as well. Her current one is impractically bare, and that's coming from a guy. =]

Everyone who says the CGI-version is pretty, has British-genes in his/her body.

I personally like the CGI-versions of Sten and Leliana > dislike the Game-Version.

For Morrigan its quite the opposite.

And there are soooo many Face-mods:

- Morrigan( unnecessary and look Barbie-style)

- Leliana versions are mostly not good-looking

- Sten has some nice CGI-make overs.

Ofc. there are people, who critizise this "Model-characters in Fantasy-Medieval setting".

But i really couldnt stand a game with only Ass-Faces (exception: The Witcher; really good made faces, not stereotypes and plastic style like in Oblivion or Fallout3)
