Back in Origins we mainly had the Darkspawn as a whole acting as the main villains, in DA2 it was a combination of The Arishok, Orsino and Meredith as the primary antagonists. What do you suspect the main villain/antagonist will be in DA3?

I don't think it would be too far off to suspect a mage or templar, or even some demon being behind things. What about Flemeth or Morrigan or even Sandal? SPECULATE NOAW!

Since there's no evidence of who or what the game's antagonist may be, any speculation would be closer to wild guessing.

From that questionaire it sounded as if something demonic or otherwise shadowy ancienct evil was behind it which is pretty sad but meh.

I heard 'army of daemons'

So maybe daemons.

I would like Vengeance/Anders to be the big bad, I think it would be a nice arch for the character; starts out as a hero- then a terrorist/freedom fighter- Now villain with an army of daemons.

Anders can die and why would Vengeance bring an army of demons?

No Inquisitor

you are the bad guy!

And then you were the bad guy.

A twist of that nature could happen. Definitely. But as for now, we don't even know of any names. It's impossible to guess.

He does summon some shades if you take him on Legacy...

[EDIT: Removed picture, since the poster clearly thought insulting BioWare personnel is hi-larious. Suggest rethinking approach in the future.]

Probably and hopefully a new intersecting character. They can't just reuse old characters and give them new roles in the story. What DA needs is consistency! I hope we'll get a new character that acts like a Saren through the game and makes life miserable for people.

There is zero info to go on. Anything we write at this point in time is little more than Wild Mass Guessing.

But hey! I'll bite. It's Dog. He's behind it all! He has those shifty, beady little eyes!!

A double Razikale-Lusacan Blight would be interesting, but alas, DA3 is about the Mage-Templar conflict.

I love wild guesses! I'll give it a go.

For DAI, there is no good vs. evil. It's just a huge epic war between two puppeteers whose morals can be described as differing shades of grey. They've been there all along, subtly manipulating the events of DAO and DA2, pushing towards their vision for Thedas. Perhaps it's the total destruction of Thedas, perhaps they want to take over, or perhaps they're trying to prepare Thedas for a bigger threat. I would assume Flemeth to be a good guess for one of the major players, but the other one could be anyone. Morrigan would be sufficiently dramatic. Maybe The Warden fights for Morrigan and Hawke fights for Flemeth. You, as the Inquisitor, can turn the tables in favour of either side, or you can grab some popcorn and watch them go at it.

Seriously though, who knows? We know next to nothing about the game. I would love to see an epic battle to the death between Morrigan and Flemeth though.

My "wild guess" would be that it has something to do with that strange lyrium artifact that Meredith had.

Figuring out what that is and why it causes madness is probably the mainstay of the game. So for a "villain" is probably going to be some strange demon thing we haven't seen yet.
