AFAIK that doesn't have anything to do with romancing her, though.

If you break up with her, or otherwise get her approval down lower, the dailog options come back, and you will be able to restart the romance and get the approval back by doing her personal quest.

Depending on your game version, if you get her approval to high before you ask her the dialogs about bards being spies, those key dialogs go away and you can't progress her plot line.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "break up with her"? I asked her to leave my party and poof - gone out of my camp so I undid that. Thanks.

In order to do her personal quest you have to ask her about bards in orlais. If you don't have that option, it was suggested that you 'talk about something personal' with her. You'll get the option to 'I think we need to end this' or some such.
If you just want to romance her, her personal quest notwithstanding, just get her approval up, be nice to her. She'll fall in love with you no matter what.

Always ask about her and have her tell you her stories.
Compliment her when the option is available. There's something about " what's a beautiful woman like yourself doing in a Chantry" or something along those lines.
You'll have to do her personal quest after she tells you about bards like previous people have stated.
After completing her personal quest ask her if "she's feeling better" and stuff about how Marjolaine was special to her and how "people change".
Also use the gifts..
Any gift with "Andraste" in its name goes to her. Some others I can think of off the top of my head are a Silver Sword, Nug, and a Chantry Amulet. There's a few others too. I know Andraste's Grace (a flower) can be found in a few locations and it opens up dialogue with her. Oh!
I remember reading somewhere that her rating has to be at 100 in order to get her to invite you to her tent, but I know I have seen some people posting this wasn't always the case.

Romancing her and getting her personal quest are two different things entirely. You can romance her and never do her personal quest,
It does make it easier to gain her approval though. Unless you have a lot of her gifts. I personally liked her personal quest over all the others. Her storyline and Zev's are the best overall.

If there is no option to break up, you are left with two choices. On the PC you can use the developers console to directly lower her approval. Otherwise you just have to take around and do things that upset her. She gets the biggest disapproval swings from solving the main quests in ways that go against her point of view. Siding with Branka, the Werewolves, and killing Connor are probably the three biggest hits to approval I can think of that are "safe". (Obviously defiling the Urn will get her pissed off, but in a she'll leave you sort of way.)
